In four months going to be 64 years old. Am I where I want to be ? not necessarily ..am I doing OK these days? guess I am :)the good news is mental health is pretty darn good.
Lots of people like to tell about their exercise regime but few mention mental health. I try to understand how OCD effects my life. The funny thing is figuring out that the origins of my OCD, there could be at least 4 different possibilities for that. So, it no longer matters how I got it, just how do I minimize it.

Biggest thing for me was Ruminating about shit from the past that went wrong, that just sets off a multitude of issues Both physical and mental didn’t even realize how many years it was happening …. much better about it ,every now and then I slip back into the old way of thinking ,but the biggest noticeable difference in my head is usually by this time of the winter I am just horribly anxious and depressed but here we are the days getting longer & I never sunk down. :) I’m not questioning it either.

I'm a big fan of desserts, maybe at the end of my life, I'll eat desserts 3 times a day. Turnovers are pretty easy to make. If you use pre made puff pastry, cook up some apples, spread over pastry, fold over, use some egg wash to hold it together, brush with egg wash, sprinkle with course sugar or not, cook and eat.
Some people buy canned pie filling and use that as a filling, making it really easy.

Bread making is not something I have attempted, fresh baked bread is a joy to eat fresh out of the oven.

It really sucked when I figured out I've been OCD pretty much my whole life and this is what I will be till the end of my life. Some things have no fixing, learning to understand and live with it, is the way forward. Going into my 76th year, still trying to understand myself.

Good to see your getting through a time without mental chaos.

https://science.nasa.gov/science-re...probe-makes-history-with-closest-pass-to-sun/ Breaking its previous record by flying just 3.8 million miles above the surface of the Sun, NASA’s Parker Solar Probe hurtled through the solar atmosphere at a blazing 430,000 miles per hour — faster than any human-made object has ever moved. A beacon tone received late on Dec. 26 confirmed the spacecraft had made it through the encounter safely and is operating normally.

Visiting the sun would be a bit of a conundrum. The probe was travelling at an incredible speed WOW

How large is the observable universe? | NOVA | PBS

The observable universe is estimated to be approximately 93 billion light-years in diameter, meaning the edge of the observable universe is roughly 46.5 billion light-years away from Earth in any direction.

Explanation:
  • Light travel time:
Since light has a finite speed, we can only observe objects that have emitted light within the age of the universe (around 13.8 billion years).
  • Expansion of space:
However, due to the expansion of the universe, the objects that emitted light billions of years ago are now much further away than they were when the light was emitted, resulting in a larger observable universe than the age of the universe might suggest.
Key points about the observable universe:
  • Diameter: 93 billion light-years

  • Radius: 46.5 billion light-years

  • Important to remember: This is only the observable universe; the entire universe is likely much larger, but we cannot observe beyond the limits of light travel.

@flower~power i can relate to what you said earlier about being tied to the farm. That was One of the main reasons I stopped indoor growing and just did ouT doors, it allowed some freedom.

I would be very interested to talk to you some time about how legalisation Played out for you. You guys are living in my future to some degree I believe.
