SSH x SSSDH THE SEARCH FOR A SUPER HAZE

Only the SSSDH's and Fuel got pre-flower sacks in my garden. I guess its a Diesel genetic thing.
My Strawberry Dogshits, GrandoggyPurps, and Cheesedogs didnt get any.
I guess its just on some of his Diesel genetics that this happens. Ive seen a few issues on the boards with this, so OJD himself warned about pre-flower ballsacks that form during transition on certain strains. Once picked off, the female is perfect and wont grow male parts anymore.
With these fantastic genetics and OJD being a super great guy with outstanding customer service, I feel strongly that its worth a few minor sacks, that can easily be spotted and culled before they open, to grow out these genetics with no fear of pollin contamination.
As long as you check them for the first 3 weeks of flower, its a sensi crop of elite genetics and the finest head stash in the jars.

Thats why I joined this site. We can all help each other grow. :tiphat:

I joined because I remember OverGrow.com or GrowKind.com don't remember and it was a drool fest for me growing up - some of the grows on there were legendary. Also was a huge memeber on www.weed.com.

Honestly stumbled upon ICMag - it presented itself after I started growing but not long after and in good timing.

My hiccup is my own fault, thinking feminized seeds meant an easy ride but I will be running a few phenos again that didn't have any herm problem. Its just something I really want to avoid dealing with. Its no fun

:thank you: again

Here we are at 7 weeks. Been checking on the regular for any more male flowers, and haven't found any. The lowers will have a few seeds, and the tops will be seedless. This is a headstash grow anyway, so I don't really mind some seeds. I'm sure I'll end up growing them at some point anyway, lol. They all have some pretty nice nugs going on except for one phenol that looks like it's gonna take forever. On with the pics..

They all reek big time. I'm pretty sure most of them are 10-12 weekers, and maybe one that is gonna be 14. They are super greasy to the touch I have to spray my hands with alcohol after I touch them just to he able to touch anything else without it sticking to my fingers. The 14 weeker(cant remember right now which # seed it was) is just about touching the top of the cab. I think I'm gonna snip the tops off her cola's so they fatten up. These are turning out to be one of my favorite grows I have ever done and I'm no greenhorn, lol.

:jump: Thats good to hear. Im very happy for you.
This grow Im doing now at week 8 3/4 is the best garden Ive run in along time as well. Were both blessed this run!
My run was from seed. I was pheno hunting for keepers and def found them with the GrandoggyPurps and Strawberry Dogshit.
I wanted a GDoggyP that had purple highlights and found it. Smells wicked good. Some purple spots now. It will be ready to harvest on Monday, but I want to bring out more purple by flushing it with cold water for that last extra week. Plus it will add alot more couchlock effect with a bunch of amber trichs'. Win-win. :tiphat:

Please dont do that, they'll fatten up just fine. Ive run the SSSDH for a few runs and know this plant well.
Heres a few pics at 10 weeks. I could hardly hold them up with the stakes. They explode with growth at week 8.
Im sure this trait was passed on to the SSH x SSSDH as well.

They are at ten weeks on Monday. They all have nice size nugs. One has a really big cola. Then there's one of them that is the whitest looking plants I have grown to date. The best part is I took a clone from it and now have a mother. Been slacking on the pics lately because I been so busy with outdoor work. I will try and remember to take some pics tomorrow night.

Here they are at ten weeks. I actually think there's a couple that are ready to take. Three others will prolly go 11 weeks, and the full on sativa phenol will be 12-14 for sure. The frost on em' is so awesome!!!!! I can't wait to fill half a flood table with the #6 plant clones!!!

Back off on the nitrogen with this strain. It will eliminate the "clawing" of the leaves and make for a much healthier plant all around. To much nitrogen is actually hampering your yield rather than boosting it. I would start a MAJOR flush right now, and flush them bigtime, until the day before harvest. This way it smokes smooth and is tasty with no chlorophyll taste or burnt, black, charcoal buds when smoked.

Thanks for the advice. I always flush my plants thoroughly, this ain't my first rodeo. As far as backing off on the n, they are getting flora nova bloom 1 part. I fed them lightly the whole grow, sometimes just giving them plain ph'd water. I've had n overdose before and know what it looks like. Next time I will give them more plain water in between feeding's. Remember this is a test run with six different seed plants. I ran them all on the same strength of food to see which ones did what.
Anyways put the scope on a couple tonight and it looks like 11 weeks may do the trick. Thanks again ojd for the shot at testing these gems!!

I just took five of them yesterday on the 11 week mark. They were plenty ready to come down. The one I thought would be 14, in reality is only gonna take 12. I repositioned her yesterday to get maximum light exposure for this last week. I will try and remember to grab my camera so I can put some pre-chop pics up later today.
