Iceman - Thanks for checkin in! I wish I had more soil lol. I have enough left for 4-5 of the larger pots that I have, I think that they are bout 1.5 gallons. I'm not sure what you mean by autoflower. All of the plants pictured are in 12/12, with the exception of the group shot in my lil veg box. I had previously kept mothers in either 4" square pots or small coffee cans for a couple of months with no problems. I was forced (not a bad thing lol) to use more small pots (the 1 gallons) because of my higher than expected # of females. I will be takin a trip soon for more soil.

The girls are about 30 days in flower, and I am impressed with the size HPS/CMH vs. flouro's. I see some frost on everything except the Pakalolo, and the haziest SSH. I think that I am in for a long ride with those. The MeT's are getting fat FAST, and the O. Diesels are not far behind. The PBG13 is showing more sativa like traits (continued stretching, thinner leaves, less density) than I expected, but I am not too certain on the lineage.

I cut down the miss muds and O.Diesel male today. The O.D. was sterile, flowers but no pollen. Some of the flowers had pistils, so I wasn't too sad to see him go. I will be taking everybody out 2moro for a feed n' groom, so I'll take and post pix then.

Big timer - Thanks for stoppin in and for the kind words! My pots are: 5.5" x 5.5" x 6", and the ones with the groove on the side are 6" x 6" x 8". The O.D.'s are different pheno's, but the 1 in the larger pot will definitely out yield the other. I know that I would have more weight per plant with bigger pots, but I am not convinced that they can get rootbound in 3-4 months. It just hasn't happened to me YET. I think that if I had bigger pots I would probably overwater and cause problems lol. The SSH's I kinda f'd up because the pots are only like 3/4 full of dirt. They want water every other day lol. I think that the 'hungrier' strains would benefit more from bigger pots, as I have lost some leaves on the SSH's and the bagseed. It looked like N def though, no crusting or twisting or anything. Now I feed everybody else 1st, then add a shot of veg ferts to those plants. If I find 1 or 2 keepers that absolutely blow me away, next time I will run fewer plants in bigger pots just to see the difference.

Yes Barletta, those are some lovely looking plants. By the looks of it, you have gained an awful lot of experience in the space of only 1 and a half grows. I was interested to see how you use that enviro to keep the males. It was nice to see some close ups of the young buds too m8 as there aren't that many about to compare with. As you know, lol, I had some panic stations about mine a little while back. Yeah, and those are some far out strains you have growing. LOL, I ain't heard of most of them. I doubt I could get any over here in Blighty but will have a look. LOL, I know what you mean about the popularity contest thing now. I am gonna have to come up with some crazy name for my next diary so as to get a bit of interest going.

You were mentioning pots and root bind at the end there m8. I have had trouble with that. All the fan leaf stalks go well droopy like thay can't take the weight of the leaves. I got one that is looking like it needs more space for its roots and it only went up into a 10 inch pot a couple of weeks ago. I can't get over how big the root mass must be with these particular plants. Those roots do love plenty of room and it seems like they carry on getting bigger up to a month into 12/12. LOL, I dunno why but finding big, square, pots here where I am is nigh on impossible unless you buy ornamental, clay pots for silly money. I have had to cut the bottom off of mine in order to double pot with the biggest ones I could get hold of. It's crazy eh???

Bun2 - Thanks for stopping by My SSh leaves go droopy if I let them get dry. They are the biggest plants with the least amount of dirt. Last week, I topdressed them with appx 50/50 castings/vermiculite with some kelp and bat guano mixed in, enough to top off the containers. They have about 5-6 weeks to go, but No problems (other than keeping the height 'manageable' lol) with the small pots for me yet.

The ladies are all doing their thing, with the MeT's finishing the quickest. 1 pheno going purple, smells of dankberries/bubblegum. 1 other pheno very center cola dominant, greasy with 'crinkle leaf' action. Will be very heavy yielder. The spice is the best smelling plant that I have going, All funky/sweet. She looks like she could be finished in 8-9 weeks, and is absolutely gorgeous. Deep reddish purple stems and leaf undersides. Peach pistils. Some pix of her:

Week 7 and the odor sok isn't cutting it. I had a humid week, so I figgured that I'd throw the sock in the dryer for a few minutes. As sketchy as this seemed, there was no smell coming out of the dryer vent. I was sort of expecting 40 days of funk to waft down the street. The thing worked like new for 2 days after, then just sort of fell back off. ONA is good shit to have around.
I have sampled away just about all of the unseeded, quicker Menege e Trois. Looks like she is finishing up now, and I'll let the seeded buds go another week or so. Turned a nice deep purple with a berry/bubblegummy scent. Tasted harsh and early lol. Nice buzz, though. Mostly mellow, indica buzz, would probably be very nice at 60-65 days.
I got some pics of the 'movable' plants, and will do my best to get pics of the rest up shortly. The hazes are coming on like the champs that they are hyped up to be. I am getting very excited for my SSH x Spice cross. What order do the parents get listed in? SSH dad, Spice mom.
The Orange Diesels are champs as well. 2 similar phenos. 1:'(orange) Fruity Pebbles' Smells orangy sweet, TIGHT buds, coming down appx 60 days. 2:'Orange Chewable Vitamins'. Looks like diesel, yields nice, very frosty, coming down appx 70 days

Thanks for the quick responses. The MeT was a great freebie. Not really uniform from the 2 I got, and the threads that I've seen, but Both are nice plants. 1 has that sexy look/smell, and the other is frosty funky and heavy. I would drop another 20 on these seeds. I crossed both phenos to Miss Mud, and the purple 1 also got the SSH pollen. I think that both plants will produce tasty offspring. I did have trouble cloning these, however. Took 1 clone of each pheno when they showed sex, and I killed them both. I am usually 80%+ with my clones.

PineBud x G13 @ 7weeks

This plant was crowded out of the light for much of it's life. She started off predominantly Indica, and is finishing like a sativa. It does have a dry woodsy scent, kinda piney i suppose. I am going to let her go 9.5-10 wks as she doesn't look anywhere close to done yet. I moved everybody around, and took some larfy side branches off of other plants to make some room for her. She will get more light and room for the next few wks.

She is a lanky bitch. Slow to flower, slight haze/spice scent. Very similar to #2. Would be abt 6' w/o supercropping, topping, even in those lil pots. I will be running these outside if she finishes in the next 4-5 wks

These are living up to the SS Hype lol. #1 is pure haze heaven. No other smells, surprisingly dense buds, little visible resin. She has shot off like a vine to take over any unused light she can get. Would have been HUGE if untopped/snapped topped again. #2 is the yielder of the bunch. She does have a hazy/fruity smell w/ 2 BIG tops. Might finish in under 12 wks, some swelling/resin going on now. #3 Grows between #1 and #2. Mostly haze/incense with a lil bit of fruit smell. Most resin production. Long loose buds. All of them are feeders/light hogs. I needed more room for these lol.

I put in a cannaloupe (you can see it in 1 of the pakalolo pics) about a week ago, and the 'vitamin' pheno of O.D will be going in 2moro. I started cracking seeds for outdoor this week. dropped 3 each of: TH Seeds Honeymoon; MrNice Shit; MrNice Dreamtime; and MrNice g13/Sk

Wats up IC. I had to expand a lil bit, and doing so made takin pix a lot easier. Chopped 1 Orange Diesel @ 9 wks, another @10 wks. Both needed 10+ as seed plants. I am looking at 10 wks on the nose for the cut I have. Both very strong, frosty bud. The Kalichakra started shooting off too many bananas for me to be comfortable with, so she came down @ 10. Spicy, skunky goodness. Very easy to grow and trim, but the yield leaves something to be desired. The Pine Bud x G-13 is taking waay to long. The description said something like 7-8 wks, but here I am day 76, and it's not done yet. She is coming down tomorrow anyway. The pakalolo's are impressive for $15 seeds. Nice hazy scent, very nice coating of resin, decent yield in very small pots. The seed co said bout 8 wks, but they will finish after about 8 wks of flowering, not 12/12 (11-12 wks). The 3 SSH's are delicious. They have changed quite a bit over their flower period. SSH1 has a thick haze scent, with semi-dense roundish buds. I would like to take her to 13-14 wks, but I am forced to chop @11. I think that this pheno is very similar to the 'pif/haze/hydro' that has been in NYC for at least the last 12 yrs or so (Wash. Heights) SSH2 I call 'the football pheno'. She has 2 very big buds (like footballs). She is not dense overall, but not 'airy' either. Smells like rotten fruit/haze. SSH3 is the most sativa of the bunch. I will take her 12+wks, but she deserves 14+. Long running colas with loose buds forming all over. COVERED in resin, slight purpling going on. Smells like rotten fruit/skunk/dry haze. I have started some of the Spice x SSH as well as some Orange D. x Miss Mud. I will put up pics when they get interesting lol.

SSH #1 Harvest. 'Pif' pheno. 80 days 12/12, appx 110 days from seed. Grown organically in 3L pots of amended FFOF. This is appx 85% of the plant, I left some buds to go longer. I figgure what is here is about a fat Oz (30-35 grams) dry.

SSH 1 (almost) dry. Will go into jars tonite or 2moro. Smells like pif with a touch of menthol, and of course the 'drying weed hay/dead stuff' smell. Killer head knocking smoke. Got my tolerance back, and still, WHOA. Same thing with the 76 day Pine bud x G-13. It's nice to have 2 killer strains on almost opposite ends of the 'high' spectrum. SSH - Heady, motivational 'clean your kitchen while waiting for the water to get hot for tea', just enough eyeball twisting, 'Whut.....?..' action. Pine bud x G-13 - smoke it standing up , it tells you to sit down. Are your eyes dry from being burnt out? It makes me tear. A lot. Doesn't make me sleepy, just 'sit and think' kind of high.

This Pakalolo (#2) comes down 2moro along with some SSH 2+3. I cut the larger of the 'footballs' yesterday morning from SSH 2 (happy 4/20), and I expect about 20 grams from it. This strain YIELDS. SSH 1 will be the lightest yielder, and is bout 1.5 oz. More pix 2moro.

Fresh Pix! These will be the last live pics as everybody that got started at the beginning of this thread will come down in a few days. Today is day 1 of wk 14 for the SSH's (13+), and the Pakalolo will go about 12 full wks.

Pakalolo #1 - Grew tall (4-5') in 1/2 gallon pot. Super cropped, so mot sure of true height. Light feeder, showed sex after appx 3 full wks 12/12. Grows loose sativa/skunk buds that fatten toward the end. Beautiful colors and smells. Smell changed quite a bit, and different parts of the plant at different stages of ripeness have different smells still. Most of the plant smells very close to the DNA Sweet Haze that I ran indoors. The less ripe portion smells more like haze, while the 'older' buds smell much sweeter, like candy.
