Shit. I hope somebody replies to your thread pretty soon. I had the same thing with my blueberries, which are now at day 51 of flowering.

I wisely ignored the problem, and thus it stayed with them right through the grow. It looks like it's going to be a pretty poor yield, and I suspect the speckled leaves are to blame.

The really great news is that the clones I took are exhibiting exactly the same problem. I'd better do something this time around.

My pH is about 6.4 and the plants are in soil (potting soil with 20 per cent perlite and some vermiculite). I use organic nutrients (Iguana juice, 3-1-3), veg under fairly weak flouros and flower under a 250 watt HPS. Temperatures never go above 83

Looks like a little PH spotting to me...what's your water source, PPM (with no nutes) and PH (with no nutes)? It does NOT look like mites to me...

ph of water

ph of water

hi MTF-Sandman thanx for reply ph of tap water is8.0 leave it overnight ph7.0
ppm of water is 0, no reading, my meter start at 100ppm cheers alza

I have similar spotting like in the second pic. Raised little bumps almost like perferated... Are you using any organinic additives or nutes??

Similar spotting...

Similar spotting...

I've had similar issues with my latest batch of seedlings. They're the bogglegum F2's produced by mastergrow, and they were on Dynago grow nutes at 0.3 EC. in hydro in a 10 gal. DWC. When I noticed the spotting, I checked the pH, and found that it was at 8.2 for some reason. I have since adjusted the pH back to 5.5 and increased the concentration of nutrients to about 0.7 EC and added a few drops of superthrive.

I'm guessing it was nute lockout, given the pH I found, so I'm going to monitor it closely from here on.

Here's one of them at about 14 days since sprouting, with the leaf spotting. Sorry about the striations in the pictures, it's a shitty camera with high resolution. Figure that, huh?

I'm going to keep a close eye on them and see if their condition improves after the solution change. The pics were taken two days ago and the pictured seedling is already starting to develop another node.

Ive had a very similar problem recently with a few NLxBB (Nirvana) plants.
Look familiar? If not, I bet it will shortly....

I never could figure out what it was after flushing, transplanting, nute changes, etc and have chalked it up to bad genetics since other plants have grown fine, including the same strain, in the same system. The weird part is that the lower leafs show this and look reallllllly bad but never actually die and fall off. The new growth at the top keeps going and looks great! Let it go and see what happens. I really think its a genetic thing floating around....

Btw, Ive been thinking about getting some Cal-Mag since Ive searched around and seen similar pictures. Havent done it yet but you are welcome to be the guinea pig

what adjustments

what adjustments

hi Ganja_Dragon what adjustments have you made???????alza :joint:

The same ones I made in my post... adjusting pH, raising nute concentration, and adding superthrive. I wonder if I'm keeping the lights too close to the rez. My last thermometer broke, so I'm gonna go out and get another one as soon as the pet store is open before I can find out.

Either way, I moved the lights (4x 24" T5HO) to about 8" away from the top of the rez. I'm seriously considering getting some white spray paint, to throw on top of the black. Black keeps light from getting through, but it's also a great heat-absorbing color.

be carefull with that stuff...I tried a sample and it seemed to work.....But when my pops went to spray them again he forgot to shake the container to mix it up....that shit killed half my crop and took months for the others to come out of the shock...burnt the tips and turned everything black,,,be carefull and mix it well before every use...with that said it looks like a ph thing....I get that also if my soil ph gets over 6.5.....6.0 and there is no worries...stay safe and best of luck
