Splitting Outdoor Harvest

Trains w/Chains

My paperwork covers almost 200 plants. I have that exact amount of five-foot bushes ready to drop in.

Try to find a five footer in the spring, with great genetics, much less for under $200. I could flower them all now, and am set to do just that, but would like to run the multiplier all summer. Many of these will be 10+ lbs.

We are preliminarily talking around $15k into each 50 plant greenhouse. It's in a remote area so gas alone is a huge component. --Did not consider who would get the greenhouse though, thanks for that.

The current plan is to keep it between me and the land owner with some cheapo high tunnels. Sounds like it should maybe stay that way. But then does he deserve half?

Far from greedy, I like to be informed and fair. That's why I've asked for opinions on the split. I appreciate them all and the anecdotes.

that puts some context to the situation.

sounds like alot of money needs to be outlayed for green houses.

what happens to all these plants if the big plan doesnt fall into place and how much better off will you be if you team up with your buddies. would you be more than 3x better off than any option where you go it solo. if you cant go it alone and you cant afford to do it yourself you havent really got much leverage....good luck

Where will it hold up?

I could flower them all now, and am set to do just that,
No you couldn't, and no you're not, and that's exactly why you posted this thread. If you could do it all right now without anyone, why don't you?

but would like to run the multiplier all summer. Many of these will be 10+ lbs.
Multiplier all summer? What does that mean, you want to veg them all summer for better yield?

And according to whose math is 10+, have you actually grown out a plant yielding that with the strains and plans you have?

Far from greedy, ...

...

But then does he deserve half?

You clearly deserve all of it. 100%. You have two positions (bring plants AND grow them, oh my!), they have one.

2 > 1, every time. You win.

Only the person in 1 or 3 would be asking this question...i think u out way out of your league..ur semce of deserving reminds me of a friend of mine...a money maker would have everything worked out... Me if I were you I'd sell half my super valuable ten thousand dollar plants for greenhouse money and keep it between u and the land owner... Dependng on his envolvement would be the split as every situtation is different...Ur whole scenario is not a good idea... IMO u deserve less and having no finances are completely replaceable... Ur best bet would be an equal split if they go for it and estimating 10lb plants is def not a good idea... If u fall short i see big probs at harvest time when ppl wanna get paid especially if ur budgeted for 10lbs .. Ppl who put up hard cash are gonna want to get there $$$ back regardless of yield... Ur plan can go horribly wrong really fast.... I wouldn't do it unless u wouldn't mind being buried in a remote location Ina 800 gal smart pot..
Ur also gettin a late start if ya still talking... A grower capable of 2000lb farm does not need

What do you care where my paperwork is good? If you ask the question you obviously know.
Yes, I have grown many 10+ lb plants. I believe my genetics are better than ever.
I think you should probably just piss off with your constant negativity and naivety. :thank you:

Yea drobdude, it's over 3x what I'd get flowering now...and thousands of dollars saved in electric.

I'm planning to average 3.5 lbs per plant (as evidenced from previous years). Yes there will be 10 pounders but unfortunately not all of them will be (but they definitely help the average).

Sure, I could sell them. But that's like cutting my legs off before the race. Besides, I have money to 'make it work' with cheap high tunnels. It's just the guy with the money is extremely motivated. ..and as I mentioned, I'm not trying to be greedy.

I asked a simple question about splitting the harvest and people turn it into a social commentary on the fucking buddy-system. I didn't ask to make sure I have the right person holding my hand as we cross the street. I wanted to know what kind of split people consider fair.

I sincerely appreciate those that help calibrate my thoughts. :tiphat:

Don't take offense trains, it's just for someone who has grown many 10 pounders you sound like a complete amateur. ... hope it all works out.

How does one "run the multiplier all summer"? What is a multiplier, because I would like to get one. I'm being serious.

Most of these threads end up nowhere and all the naysayers were right all along; but every once in a while, someone ends up being more than just talk (whether underestimated, misrepresented, or otherwise newly driven) and shows everyone up. Good luck.

An unknown ripper takes it all a week before harvest, and you all kill eachother thinking it was eachother that did it. LOL

yup. never a good idea to have more then 1 partner.. even partners are a bad idea . cuz usually something stupid happens and someone is pissed.. but 3.. people .. id say.. sit down and see what you think.. .if there are people not doing any work.. and if shit hits the fan.. there names arent even involved? then maybe 20- 40-40.. risk and work get 40.. .. or if u wana do it 33 each.. .. i mean it all depends.. if i did all the work. and it was my plants id ask them if they were cool with a 30-30-40 split. if not. .then do 33 each. and u get extra 1 percent.. iuno..

becareful. and make sure everyone is happy the entire season threw. or u could wake up to nothing there one day.

I agree with this guy.. Risk and work deserve more reward. Good luck!
