hot blodded it could be a lot of stuff outdoors..... The kind of bugs that are doing it will leave signs on the plant, aphids leave webbing on the plant in extreme cases, thrips will leave poop on the leaves sometimes and looks like the top layer of the leaf was chewed kinda like what is listed above...... how old is your plant? the top leaf is caused by a pest that is big enough to chew holes through it, thats not done from a small pest like aphids. You checked underside your leaves for bugs and check the soil area of the plant to see if any bugs are specifically living around the plant? Use of neem oil, insecticide soap is good to use, you want to get rid of them now before you get into flowering. It will be much harder to control pests when in flowering because you have to spray around the buds if at all taking that chance spraying them in severe cases. catapillars also chew on the leaves too, so if you don't find any bugs anywhere, chances are the bugs are passing by and eating on your plant, which is NOT what you want, because those bugs can bring viruses to your plant and spread fungus from plant to plant from it being carried on them. Defiantly get them treated, because they are so extremley healthy plants from the looks of it, great job btw! First I would try to look for bugs and if you don't find any, get what I listed above, one or the other and go easy.... too much neem is not good, insecticidal soap is good to use too. but if you find a bug that is on the plant, see if you can get a picture of it and post it, if not then try to explain it here and see what we can help with.
She's about 2 and a half months old. I transplanted her from a clone a family member gave me. I have been seeing very small spiders, very few but too large to be mites. The bugs I see frequently are either brown or green. I will try and take a picture of one and I'll show you an overall picture of the plant. Thank you very very much!
Hello there, im new to the site but was directed here by a fellow grower and i have to say im highly impressed. id like to thank u for the time and effort u put into that whole thread, it was a very selfless thing to do and it goes without a doubt appreciated. so i currently am growing 3 autos and i am having an issue with 1 of the 3, the Easy Ryder which is 42 days from seed 2day. Its in Miracle Grow Organic Choice potting soil and under 3 26=100watt CFLs. its in a DIY last minute 45gal storage container i turned into a grow box. i have 2 4inch fans going at all times its on a 18/6 lighting cycle at the moment and i never completely close the box so that fresh air can enter. i believe its either got nitrogen def potassium def or heat stress. im leaning more towards the heat stress jus bc of the pics on the thread and bc its in such a small space with strong lighting. unfortunately i dont have any pics but i do have a vid so if u would please take a moment to check my vid out and give me any suggestions on what u may think the problem is i would GREATLY appreciate it. heres the link:

Again thanks so much, Peace n Blessings
So im having issues with my easy ryder and cud use help figuring out if its a pH problem a Nitrogen def or a Phosphorous def. im leaning more towards the P def since its an auto and is 44 days from seed. this is my first time growing autos tho so of course i freakd at the first signs of any troubles. id greatly appreciate any help ANYONE can give. Jus check the link out below and hit me bk with a response n ull b a God send! Please and Thanks! Peace n Blessings!
This problem start few days before... that plant is like 3 months old...the first 45 days it was outdoor in a regular soil and was not doing so good...ok so i've transplanted her to a 5 lt. pot with a mix of equal parts of perlite, vermiculite and coco substract....put in a grow box with HQI 400W and good ventilation system...It was doing great after that...ok, so I've started to fertilize her with a 8-8-8 nPk solution and 10 days ago i've changed to Peter's 30-10-10....first time that I've used peter´s it gone well...1 week later (3 days ago) I've feed second time with same solution ....in the day after it started to do like that...it like some parts a white green, some burn an dry appearence...Unfortunatelly I don't know the strain of that seed...
I'm using mineral water with ph near to 6 and EC of water is 54 uS/cm...
I'm not using a good measure system of PH, but that i have is showing near 8....Yesterday i've put some water with some vinegar drops to try to reduce it a little... today is showing 7...
Let me know if I forgot to give any information necessary, so please help with that It would be great... Sorry for the english mistakes...
heres the thing, you over fed her. Did you read what was on the back of the bottle? 30-10-10 is too high ratio you normally do not want to go over 10 so if you got 20-10-10 that is the higest ratio of balance you want to go to. 30-10-10 is too unbalanced, youh qave to use half of recommended dosage and you also have to base it on the plant size.
Another thing, that soil pH tester, get rid of it..... I am sure you have pH that is high, but your main problem is your plant has way too much nitrogen..... see how dark green it is, I first looked at your plant and said too much nitrogen and then when you said the ratio of mixture I knew excatly that what it iss your going to have to flush your plant. How many times have you fed this and how much?
Soil pH testers are garbage.... do you have pH test strips or have the money to invest in a pH tester and testing fluid? If you don't have the cash you can get pH test strips from pool supply,,, just make sure the minimum pH it tests is 4 ..... But right now your going to have to flush her out...... i would use 2 gallons of water per gallon size pot.... the pot is in the correct size... also the plant is very stretched how far away is the light? If the plant was not in the proper pot size you could not use that much water to flush, it would be a lot harder because when roots are not in an area yet that water gets too it stays wet and causes roots to die.
You don't have that issue, but fert burn does kill roots.....
Lemon juice or vinegar is a temp solution for something that you don't have a pH down. It runs out fast and does not keep the pH down very long.... it works great if your in a pinch, but it does not work as well like pH down and other pH products..... your issue here is too much nitrogen so you gotta flush and your pH will go back down after flushing her our good.
I've got some sick plants, and I'm not sure what the problem is. My plants are pale and unhappy looking. They're about 5 weeks old from cuttings. I've got them in bio-bizz coco in air pots, and I'm feeding with H&G Aqua Flakes with H&G stimulants, RO water refortified with ca/mg. Using the H&G a little weaker than the chart.
I started the cuts under a t-5 in 1 gal pots, they got a little pale, then greened back up after about 10 days. I initially put this down to not precharging the coco, but now I'm not sure. I transplanted into 5 gal pots, and moved the plants under 1K hps's. They rapidly became very pale. The plants started to green back up earlier this week, but they seem to be going pale again. I also noticed that the edges of the leafs are curling some. I'm thinking some sort of deficiency, but I'm not sure what.
Also, is there any chance my tent could be the problem? I hadn't considered it, but? I have a SunHut that I bought last year, although who knows how long it sat around the store. It's got the silver/mylar interior, which is supposed to be OK and the box said it wasn't toxic to plants but I've had a lot of difficulties since I started using this tent. I'd written these difficulties off to various other things, but the tent was always a constant.
Here's some pics of the plants. Any advice/thoughts you have would be greatly appreciated. Btw, I have a thread in the infirmary, but wasn't getting an answer. There are a few more pics with that post.
