That sounds like a good safe method as well. I do have one question though, what happens with the eggs they lay under the leaves? Do the eggs just get eliminated by virtue of the fact that all the living spider mites are up on the pest strip, so no more eggs? It just seems like you would have a second wave of bugs. Either way though, if you got those right away, I guess you would have them ALL dead. I like your method even better than mine, assuming it works, because it is the least invasive of all. And the least messy.
