mites are easily prevented indoors...but as was stated already....when the plant dies the mites vacate

yup when the plants die they head for the hills or the next living thing. lol plant wise. but just ahng the buds and watch the mite colonize at the top. its kinda funny and freaky all at the same time.. then take a fat bongrip blow it at them to get them messed up then off with their heads.. hahahahaha im sadistic.

I remember someone on OG mentioning they found a dead bird in a brick of Mexi. That would be a nice surprise huh? One time, a buddy of mine bought an ounce of the schwaggiest of schwag in Harlem. He took it out and folded it out, and it was one enormous foot long cola that had been folded and pressed flat. It was pretty cool. Got me really high too, but it was molded. In 10 years, I've gone from moldy Mexican to Hashplant to NL to organic outdoor landrace sativas for my head stash.

Hello

A trick from france :
Put your buds into water ( at about 20°C) during one hour, and "shake" them into the water every five minutes.
Than put them in front of a fan unless they seemed to have no longer water inside. ( a day max )
It s a short term watercuring, which has almost no effect on taste, but can let you clean your weed from pests.

Water destroys THC... plus it generally makes weed taste like hay...

^Hello,

Water does not destroy THC. Water cannot disolve THC, otherwise the bubblebag method wouldn't be worth a damn.

Wow this thread has been an interesting read lol. I won't speak too soon but I really don't think I have mites (I did earlier in my grow). I gave them one GOOD last spray with pesticide 3 weeks into flowering. Might not work for everyone but if you have a good clean indoor environment to avoid mites totally just give them one good spray last spray in flowering when there really isn't any flower clusters. Fox Farms "Dont Bug me" killed mites on the spot and gets the job done. It says you can use up to the day of harvest but I wouldn't do it. Just make sure you spray it on a few minutes before the lights turn out or your plant might end up looking like mine did or worse. Next time you should try it Chris. I know how annoying those mites can be...it also work for small spiders and other pests.

Hola Jinxie  ,

It's very nice to see you're still hanging around these parts helping the new growers get things done right. :headbange

what I dont et is why people want to smoke dead rather than live ones ... scared they'll start a colony in your lungs?

I have a spray that I use ... can be sprayed on food crops and eaten same day ... seems to work and I never had any problems with it

If you had mites in the last few days of flush or near to cut
wouldnt water curing be the best way to get rid of them ?
not the quick one mentioned but a full week water cure?

peace
