and here is the cloning chamber, now full of twelve clones. the ones on the right are from butter. the ones on the left are due for transplantation into 8" pots next week:

going to be doing some transplanting soon!!! gotta get some airstones! im going to let the other plants go as long as i can before they are needed. this is a medical grow, and when the medicine is *needed*, it has to come down! im trying to make it last until the next few plants are ready enough to provide ...

Id be interested to see what you get out of em too!! My original idea was to try some breeding with the "mixed-up" genetics, thinking that Nature might have a few surprises lurking under the surface that might come out. Boy was i right! I had one crazy little SLOW-growing mutant plant, one plant that just up and died in veg, several males (of course), and the keeper Butter plant ive got now (but have yet to flower).

What im going to do next time is get a variety of KNOWN kickass beans such as black domina and lifestar, bogglegum, etc. and just go from there. wont do that until after the summer tho

oops! one of the clones was all wilted! one of the plants too!! now you can see why i dont do hydro! I might try it again actually, bubble bucket this time. (SIMPLE).... bought a ton of airstones from wally world, and got a KICKASS air pump. SIXTY FIVE liters per minute!! It should be here soon. I just need to get some pea gravel ($2 for 40lbs instead of $3 for 2lbs for aquarium stone) to cover the airstones at the bottom of the buckets and keep dirt out of em. im also going to put a petcock at the bottlom of each bucket so they can be flushed out in the tub and then sealed back off for air-injection purposes. Big lots has 26w CFs on sale for $1.50 EACH!! Im going to add flowering room capacity with many of these 26watters hanging from the ceiling. Only problem is they are a WHITE WHITE (not cold BLUE but not exactly "warm"). But since they are only $1.50 each (or $3 for a twopack), i'll just have to live with it.

dammit! i went back to biglots and they were SOLD OUT of the Cfs already!! that sucks... (but i wonder how many are going into local cabinet grows!!?? ) well, at least i got four packs worth when i was in there the other day. I also transplanted three more plants to five gallon buckets with the airstones installed, rocks, etc. airstones, 4" of rocks, 2" of perlite, then the soil. Hopefully this will release the air down deep and it will penetrate upwards. Butter herself seems to have slowed down her growth a lot since i took the six cuttings a week ago. I took the other six cuttings out of the humidity domes and it looks like five of them will survive. I might put these five cuttings into a common tub and make a mini SOG under some of the CFs. Hmm that seems like an interesting idea!! I should transplant them soon so they can veg maybe one more week and then i can flower them. Later y'all

recieved the air pump! It is pretty big, a little bigger in fact (around) than a 12oz mason jar. it came with a manifold and section of big tubing to connect the pump to the manifold. I had to ream out the manifold outlets just due to some extra material in the moulding process. I need to go get more airline tubing and "T" joints before I can hook it up to the buckets. i will run a single bucket (each with two 5" airstones) from each of six outlets. I just need to get it all together upstairs in the flowering room. HOPEFULLY this will work to blow up my yield situation so i can shut down for summer...

went out and got tubing, connectors, T-fittings, etc., also some lawnmower filter material (foam) to make an air filter for the bigass aquarium pump. Ive got the pump itself hanging from a bungie from a hook in the wall, and i got some large tubing so that i can be flexible about pump placement (i want it outside of the grow room so it can suck in cool outside air)...or maybe i will just run a hose for intake air outside of the room. Its got a six-outlet plenum, each of which should be pushing about 10 liters of air per minute. That is at least three times more air per outlet than each of the $10 wallyworld pumps can put out of TWO outlets. right now, ive got each outlet running a single airstone in three, dual-stone buckets. So the one pump is running three buckets. I feel that there is so much air available from this pump that i will be able to comfortably "T" off each of the buckets, then run six buckets from the one pump. Right now this is in the veg room, but eventually it will migrate to the flower room when there is room for em! i might be buying a ton more CFs to make more flowerspace... gotta do something!! pics later

that big air pump REALLY moves some air!! the whole room (veg chamber is closet in this room) smells like EARTH. all that air moving through the roots *HAS* to be good for em! I really need to get off my ass and take some new pics!!

100w CF Ghetto Ficksture $1.50 for each of the bulbs, $2.50 for each of the "Y" adapters, $1 for the roaster pan:


I have two such "fixtures" over these two plants... theyve recently given up some clones, i will veg them until i can free some space in the flowering room... i really need another 400w HPS to add flowering capacity. issue with these bushy plants is they take up a lot of floor space!!



these are the 8" pot (hehe) plants, i need to transplant these babies... ima take an assload of clones off em soon.... just because I can....

I just put BUTTER into flowering! She has a prime spot right under the HPS, but here you see her in the veg closet. I outlined her in red so you can see her full canopy. see what i mean about floor space?! The arrow points to her main growing stem. if she wasnt LST'd, shed prolly be a good two or three feet tall at least.
