Speaking to the Dead

I have no need for god or reincarnation, it is the ego saying "how could the world exist without meee...." "There must be a plan"..... but it is easy for me to not need them.
As for speaking with the dead, they are dead, get it? When you die the you that was is dissipated like the perfume of a flower, it is gone except for how you and your actions altered others lives. You can project that you are in communication with the dead, like people project a god in their own image, or insist on reincarnation, but it is just you and your projections.
As for Jerry, if he is still doing what he liked when alive he is taking all the profits people gave him by supporting the dead's music, and buying freebase and china white to smoke into oblivion, 300 lbs what a life???
People project their visions onto artists that are not worthy, if you like the music cool, Jerrys lifestyle was just plain wack 300 Lbs give me a break, the guy was so unhappy it hurt to see him. 20 years of hard drugs are a symptom of a seriously screwed up life, dying in a rehabilitation clinic. The last 20 years of his life I refused to support the dead with my money, why would I want to help someone be a hard drug addict? It was common knowledge, I just felt sorry for him, to easy for him to get loaded and try and escape his demons, even if the demons were hard drugs, everyone wanted to give Jerry free drugs, that did not help, but it was Jerry's choice to take them.
I hate to rag on a dead guy that was so popular, but the truth is the truth.
I will agree, what a long strange trip it has been, and still is....

Jerry's music made so many people happy. tens of thousands of people gathered together in jubilation, is an amazing thing to be a part of. What a beautiful thing to bring to the earth.

Dying is the normal thing so there really is no time for anything in this life but love.
Music and Art are the leading edges in the evolution of the human consciousness. Great masters come to earth in many roles to teach us in this realm. From his point of view now he must look down upon us with some satisfaction.
We are truly affected by his music and being for the rest of our lives. Perhaps what we imagine that is so good in some of us is what helps us look forward to the future. By our actions in this life do we make our beds in the next. Karma is reality and this is why "it truly is better to give than to receive". Why "the meek shall inherit the earth" and why "judgement is mine" sayeth the lord.
Was Jerry a GOD? No. He was just like you and me and in reality he was and is you and me as we are one.

What about smoking with the dead?
I felt this gold light. It was a sexual energy, and definitely female. She stayed with me about an hour and a half. I went to the building, but didn't go inside. I tried to brush off the presence, even though I could feel it with me. Inside of me and all around me. She left to where she was going, but she did say goodbye. I still love her very much.
She came to my home and got me out of bed. I was really too sick to be leaving the house, but I felt drawn by whatever it was at the time. It was her.
That's part of an experience, I've had a few more. There is something more, beyond.

last summer a june beetle landed on my window screen, and in one place, started buzzing its wings.
out comes this voice.
and the voice is clear and intelligible for like fifteen minutes. that shit happens all the time but this was really a pure transduction. i hear animals and birds talking in words all the time, but this was .. very forceful.
and of course it was a striking experience, even for someone very used to transduction.
later, i remembered that i had indeed, read in WIRED magazine a few years before, that darpa or whoever had developed the use of live insects and birds for intelligence. it would be relatively simple to translate say pitch and a single formant into a signal that could be applied to a nerve (it sounded a bit like ring modulation in the teens or 20s).
do i know what it was? nope. just another crazy shit story i can post on the internet, i can't go to the law or anyone and say "look a bug told me this".
