Anybody come across Spanish Seeds - Girl Scout Cookies? Got some freebies and was curious if anybody has grown the Spanish Seeds GSC. https://www.icmag.com/ic/images/smilies/dance013.gif

Some good plants can be found in GSC seeds, but few lines actually throw phenos similar to the cookies in terms of flavor and aroma. Most cookie seed lines I've seen, and the cookie freebies I ran were mostly lime smelling plants with dense buds. If you're going for a keeper that's a good cookie representation, probably gonna need a lot of seeds. If you're just looking for a keeper for a mom, you'll Deffinitely find one if they used a real cookie cut. I however am jumping off the cookie bandwagon. Grew the forum cut a few times, got it to yield 5oz and hit 25%, just doesn't smoke as good as it looks and smells. Everybody 8n my circle 8s going nuts for it and I'm just over here like

Aren't Chimera's GSC S1s still available? They definitely were the best option out there. Who else tests cuts with HPLC in order to verify legit cuts and produce top notch seeds?

I have my doubts that Spanish seeds even have a legit GSC cut. Plus is weird that no one at any spanish forum ever grew or tested them. Most people here are getting GSC hybrids from US for that reason. They are one of those bulk seed companies with little ethics even less breeding experience, honestly they probably selected some from Cali Connection or something like that and did the S1s. So I don't wanna even think about what the offspring will be.

Unfortunately I caught PM and killed everything in my veg room and combating it in my flower room being that I'm 3 weeks from harvest and thankfully I caught it soon enough. I just started to see spotting on the few sun leaves that were left on my pre 98's I trimmed all infected leaves and sprayed milk mixture 1 part milk and 9 parts water. Ill try to post a updated picture soon. Noticed that my Platinum animal cookies are taking to the PM the worst and the Ghost OG are the most resilient to the mildew. that whole room is in week 7 of flower, so i'm trying to pull it through until harvest seem to be combating it thus far. as for the GSC seedlings I Germinated 16 of them and all 16 were popping out of the coco within 5 days. Also had Purple Rhino only 13 of 16 popped with that being said I literally cut down everything all My mommas and seedlings/teens gonna pull this harvest out and start fresh. Learned my lesson keep humidity levels down, better air circulation and preventives for next go around lol. ~-“I have always loved marijuana. Exactly, here in Spain culturally there is little understanding of elites or selection, they just think that if you buy a pack of X and select a good one, that it is X

This includes people who run seedbanks and should know better, in fact, they probably do....

Only yesterday someone offered me GSC, after several minutes of asking it eventually came out that this was not forum or thin mint or any other hyped up cut, but a DHS seed plant... So I said no thanks

Yeah that's what I'm talking about... lately as the interest grows, many cuts are starting to float around but when you dig a bit you get to know they aren't verified elites at all, but unknown s1 selections that are spreading around like a plague without a proper name!

I guess it's understandable as the Cannabis scene here is pretty young, besides many fishermen or army men were smoking and bringing african seeds since the 70s. But the growing culture probably didn't explode until 90s and finally the 2000 era.

Besides all the seedbank, cannabis club, magazines and hemp fairs, things are still pretty quiet outside those bussiness circles. Most people don't even use forums and from those that do, a very small percentage manages in English so they can't really have access to good info unless other experienced growers or breeders share it. Thinks have been changing a bit lately but it will take time to get everyone educated and the Cannabis scene to become stronger.

Meanwhile, the scene will be dominated by all this companies looking to make profit from the uneducated and young growers.

I was curious about Spanish Seeds that's why I started this post. When I received the GSC freebies, I wanted to know if I got lucky with some killer gear! I've been searching the web for Spanish Seeds and found very little. On Seedbank review I did find this description: http://www.seedbankreview.com/spanish-seeds/ The Spanish Seeds website doesn't even work! Information that would be helpful to us would be who are the breeders, what is their biography and mission statement. Hopefully we can find out what the Spanish Seeds company is all about. I researched Ace Seeds and thought Dubi's products and preservation of sativa landraces was impressive. And plus all the grow logs were inspiring, so now I'm in the process of growing out a Zamaldelica.
