how is your haitian voodoo/png goddess doing?

i'm trying to do in line breeding for a png line. i have a good non hermie male. just need o get a good female and make beans and try 'em out.

i prefer the png dominate out of nanan bouclou, but the haitian is excellent also. i'm a nighttime toker. the haitian is premier daytime work weed imo. only after isolating the png and running it outdoors can i give better feedback on his png genetics. my idea of fun. :)

the opportunity to run two more landraces (haitian, png ) is what i like to do. i look at landraces as gene pools and i do inline work with selected individuals with desired attributes. it's like having a well stocked refrigerator, freezer and pantry. you can then do hybrids which is akin to recipes in cooking.

thanks for your perspective idiit,
I hope you continue to share your journey with this beautiful hyb

I appreciate it takes sometime to get to know a strain and its nuances ,

I,m imagining a cross between nanan bouclou and sotas nycd x sumatran would be nice:biggrin:

Funny you say that, I plan to do the same but with the Haitian side....as a matter of fact I plan on Isolating the Haitian Landrace, then growing it in Hispaniola(Haiti/Dominican republic) to compare with whichever local line I can get my paws on. See what happens, that'll be my life work and contribution to the canna world.

I'll will definitely keep you guys updated, eventhough I'm at best 6 months away from having anything substantial. Actually, I might just try a guerilla grow this summer before moving out. Right here in the NYC baby muahahahhahha....compare the smoke to some Dyckman Puray aka Piff see how well it stacks up to the local legend, probably blow it outta the water.

hey guys, hope you're all going well.

Spent the last couple of years just reading these threads (RIU ect ) but rarely commented.

Grew outside with limited (cannabis) experience for years without to much trouble, but switching to indoor growing was a steep learning curve and I'm sure I would've lost my temper and thrown in the towel long ago if it wasn't for the knowledge and adviced shared by the community.

Look, it might be a foolish question, but have any of you tried growing one of these pure sativas indoors with any success.? I did some research and got mixed responses. If I start them from seed at 12/12, is vigilance, LST and topping going to give me a fighting chance of pulling off a successful grown in a large cabinet, or am i just setting myself up to fail...?

Been growing the same 2 strains for close to 3yrs now, and a change is long long overdue believe me! NB is definitely the one I want to play with next, but I plan on making fem seeds on at least the lower half of the plant the first grow- and i can see this turning into a 15 week nightmare if i'm not careful.

SSS has some great sounding alternatives, and I think I've narrowed down my selection to a few strains, but it's a pure sativa that I really want- the more psychoactive the better!

Cheers in advance for any advice or opinion given- and of course best of luck with your own grows!

^ the nanan bouclou is pretty much haitian dom. i recently got an email from ozg (sss proprietor) saying basically the same. it does fine indoors (not a nightmare compared to extreme sativas) . try it out. i prefer their performance outdoors. i did not find nanan bouclou psychoactive. the pure png might be and i'm trying to find a femal png pheno to breed with now.

welcome to ic savage. :)

edited to add the haitian dom nb was not psychoactive. the png dom with strong haitian influence did have some psychoactivity. i need to find a very png dom female and run her outdoors.

I have grown one of these seeds indoors, and it was a breeze, not challenging at all. The first one I grew I was not impressed with, but because of the experience of others with this strain, I will try again someday.

Well, that's all the convincing I need- will be hitting up SSS shortly! haha and the possibility of free texas guinan is wicked as i had my eye on those too!

idiit, i noticed in your earlier post that you mentioned you didn't find the nb all that psychoactive- but that sounds like an interesting little project you working on there- have you found there is much variance in the ratio of haitian/png dominance in the nb, or do they all lean more towards the haitian side?

Since ppl are cuorios about the Haitian side of things, has anybody had experience with Karina from Porno Seeds?

the nanan bouclou is an f1. to get phenotypic variance the best way is off homemade fx's (nanan bouclou f2's). make some nanan bouclou seeds and then plant these seeds to get the different phenotypes. the haitian is much shorter internodal lengths (indica like bud formation). the png has reddish colorations, extreme sativa stretch, whispier bud formation, fan leave burned smoke aroma is kick ass pungent. the png will be the most potent and possibly psychoactive.

nobody runs porno seeds it seems. :) the karina does look interesting (both karinas :) )

Music to my ears, well in this case your post is a sight for sore eyes.

A new one on there
Public Image - February 2015 release

Our CBD Star - Harlequin BX4 x Sweet n Sour Widow

There is a great deal of what is consider therapeutic value in this strain with at least a 1:1 ratio of THC to CBD.

Very easy to grow and vigourous.

Has a fluffy flower set and bud formation as well, so will be easily suitable to more humid areas, which is not suprising, given there is a large amount of Sativa in the genetics.

Will be a suitable strain to make tinctures, extracts, etc.

The High itself is relaxing, and not a potent high, as the real value is in the CBD content of the strain.

Think of Hemp to smoke that has a mild high.

Great for pain, anxiety, stress nausea and spasms.

Grow Enviornment : Indoors or Outdoors

Flowering Times : EXACTLY 8 weeks to maximise the amount of CBD present at Harvest, as an extended flowering period will diminsh the CBD content.

the png dom nb was very hardy. the haitian dom not so hardy (some bud rot). these were clones transplanted od. the seedlings should come in later when summer/early fall bud rot season passes ( 10/15 in my area).

smoked some of the last harvest of png dom (let lower undeveloped branches go until 11/15) last night. this is excellent smoke imo. the haitian influence tightened up the buds and added frost. png dom is a viable commercial strain due to it's "hydro" type bud formation and frost.

had to delete pics. due to almost getting busted (real close). lots of time ahead to photo document this strain.

Yea I was especially looking forward to see your pics until I read you took them down for security reasons. I'm going to start some NB's to go outside in a couple of months, I'll be uploading pictures too. The mold issue with the haitian genetics worries me a bit, since the climate here is Coastal humid....but I'll try conjuring up some type of natural foliar spray to combat mold if possible. Or maybe just hit them with a diltued Food Grade hydrogen peroxide.
