Southern Star Seeds Grow

I am too much of a novice to guess parentage but yes, based on the smell I am not surprised there are some mango types in there.
It is a great plant, I have made some clones and am going to run it again.

I bet it will be one of SSS's best sellers when they release it for sale.

AB did you seed up the girl or get rid of the males?

Well, that didn't end well....the plant I had put outside didn't make it. It shriveled up on me. Looks like the soil was to hot for for the seedling. I'll have to wait til I get a better location now, story of my life for the past few years :-(

Had to get rid of the males, I don't have a good setup for breeding unfortunately (I'm growing in a space smaller than half a metre sq.)
I plan to do some breeding eventually, this was only my second grow so I have much to learn.

The males were all pretty hardy and vigorous though. The biggest and most dominant was sprouting three branches per node so I would have loved to have kept it.

The Chopper Read x Walter White seed trial has resulted in 3 small females from the initial 5 seeds germinated.
These have been growing slowly but happily throughout winter, just cruising along with some garlic plus wet and wild weather.
The plants look quite nice, I may clone some of these for the up coming season.
Hoping for a combination of the best characteristics from both parents.
Not expecting too much from this trial but now have an indication of what to expect from this seed stock.

Loving the SSS love in this thread, that Golden Fleece looks great AB!

Uni, looking forward to seeing more of your resinous girls....

It finally looks like I'll be getting my own place come October....I'll be popping about 20 Nanan Bouclou seeds at once. Planning on mimicing Haiti's daily Photoperiod from October til Harvest. Of course I'll keep you guys posted.

AB's Golden Fleece looks like a real crowd pleaser for sure.
I am just fooling around in the winter months... nothing to see at the moment.
Good luck with the new venture in October Lesnah.

So you are drying some PNG buds? I'll be glued to the forum awaiting your verdict.

@ Uni, thanks bro....these people aren't making it easy here...I'm still waiting for a new place.

hey leshah!

no, I wish I had a very png dom female to seed up from my red png male freezer pollen.

I did smoke fan leaves last night from the two reddish females being fattened up before being put into flowering. strong potency for fan leaves, unique smoke aroma. need a non hermie female.

southern at sss raved about one strain in a conversation with another ic member that met him in person; png aka cape tribulation sativa. the png aka cts was sourced from an aboriginal that obtained them as alleged pure png beans. so the story goes..... :)
