Sounds like Sour Diesel to me. Although the coughing smoke could very easily be more from how it was grown than the genetics..

Does the high last for more than 30-45 minutes? If so it is one of the better cuts, All the different batches I've gotten from Rez seeds have had a great high and taste, but literally it all drops out after 30 minutes without fail.... If you get the real deal Sour Diesel you are going to be high for 2 - 3 hours =]

I have tried Rezdawg's vs. And not to put anyones work down. But it could not compare the the real cut of ECSD. In all aspect's. And with the real cut, growen proper. You should get as long a high as you would of any good sativa. 1-2 hrs. Also with the right flush, It is very smooth smoke.

If you got it in seed form it has the lineage of this:
Chemdog Sour Diesel »»» Chemdawg d x Sour Diesel IBL

If it is a cut from the mother the lineage is this:
('91 Chemdawg x Mass Super Skunk/NL)x DNL that DNL hermed. The DNL's lineage is NL/Shiva x Hawaiian.

But really unkown or he could'nt sell them as NYCdiesel.

Thanks for the info Liven. All I know about them is they are seeds from an original S1 clone that was hermied. I sure hope they turn out nice. I've never tried any diesel before so I'm really excited.

If that is the case. I have seen S1's right from the real clone only cut, come out this rich creamy skunk. With no lemon and little diesel. Just a killer exotic skunk. But any characteristic can show, since they are s1's. You wont even know weather it will be sativa or indica dom, till they grow. But either way you will have some of the sickiest buds around. And is going to come out better than any bean copy's you can find. Even if it does not come out the same. It will be on the same level. good Luck! and keep us updated.

I would have to agree. The high does sound spot on. But it is one of the smoothiest smokes I have ever tried. many growers just flash dry, or simply don't cure. This will make it harsh, lose potency and flavor/smell. Also ECSD needs to be grown organic. So flushing is an issue but not as much as with hydroponically grown, flowers.

Also one last thing. It is NOT S.D. if it is not the clone only cut. Then it is either an f1 to produce a plant that is very identical, or it is an s1. And while being great beans (s1's). They just cant be called true S.D. more like S.D.'s little sister. They will be different but hold the same genetics.
