SOUR OG KUSH- FLOWER 58th Day

I posted some pics earlier of the plant @ day 50 of flowering. Here it is 8 days later. I just began it's flush the day before this pic. She's now on day 65 and is developing a purple tint. Trichs are almost all cloudy, with a few still clear and a few finally turning that wonderful amber color.

If she progresses like she is now, I plan on cutting a few nugs lowest on the plant next week @ 70 days. I think I'll let the rest go to 77-84 depending on how quick those trichs turn.

I'll try and post some pics at her current 65 days very soon. Her smell is definately kush-like... bud structure resembles diesel though. Nugs are pretty dense... every time I think she's wrapping up, she sprouts a bunch of new white hairs all over. Given the flushing, I thought she'd just start to slowly die. We'll see what happens this nest week!

IME diesel hybrids will continue to pack on the pistls for a long time.

Best approach is to take her at seventy five and live with the newer clear trics. otherwise you'll be there forever waiting for the new trics to turn mean while the old ones are decaying fast and losing potency, possibly developing fungus/rot.

She will be harvested very soon! Harvest pics and smoke report will follow once the axe falls and she is dried and cured.

Anyone with any experience with a sour og or Diesel plant care to make a recommendation on the drying/cure process? For example, I cure my regular OG Kush sooner than most other strains. I put the OG into the curing jars while they still a little moist (just before the stem snaps easily). With a longer, slower cure... I find the OG gets that firm, yet super sticky texture we all know and love.

So... how does Diesel smoke the best? Short dry/long cure? Complete dry/light cure? All input would be appreciated.

very nice, bignick. I have a purple pheno of sour og, and it grows similarly, but turns black outside at about 40 days. but the buds are lankier outdoors than yours. it's always an interesting cross to see, cuz you don't always know who was the male when you get a cut, so i would expect a lot of variation...here's an indoor pic for comparison, pretty similar:

That is a very nice girl you have there. Your leaves definitely look to be more on the Sativa end of thing compared to mine. The fan leaves of this cut early on looked VERY much like the abusive OG cut... fat, deep dark green. I'm interested to see what she will smoke like... only time will tell!
