You are going to be stoked on the bonsai heroes. They made trimming tolerable. As a one man show, I wouldn't have been able to expand without them. Once you get your technique down, you can get pretty surgical with them. Worth every penny.

have you guys watched any of the vids on youtube of that bonsai hero? it reminds me of a time that I asked my father in law to help me and my girl trim...I must have heard " you just gotta keep the scissors moving" at least 100 times that day...I had to go back over everything he "trimmed", which was a lot considering his technique....leaves flying everywhere...I have turned down his offers to help out every time since lol, and he was free labor! lol

Reminds me of my old bro Dirty Dave!
We still joke about how he could smoke more than he trimmed!!!!

He was a blast to hav around and was the best entertainment buds could buy...
But he was the death of productivity!! Ha . ;D
Fuckin DB, I still miss that guy!!

Big ups respect and happy growing!!

Id need a surgeon if i got one of those trimmers!

You can't get worse than a papercut. The blades won't even cut through thick stems let alone a finger.

Have you ever used a bonsai hero? It's not micro-tip precision, but damn close. Close enough that I trim 1x when wet and 1x when dry, and i only take 1-2oz of trim off a dry lb.

no I haven't used one. I was basing my statement off of the vids I watched. I think they would work okay with big round nugs but not so much foxtaily/crazy structured slightly fluffier stuff...what I saw on the vids looked like it needed a lot of touch up to be to my standards, and I know that with some fiskars I only need to make one pass, and every leaf that gets touched will not need to be revisited...I wasn't trying to knock the product, I dont think that there will ever be a trimming machine or trimming assisting product that will ever meet my standards personally...I like to limit handling of nugs, so much so that I'd prefer if the first hands to ever touch it were the ones breaking it up to roll or pack it. multiple stages of trimming seems to introduce a higher likeliness of incidental contact, which diminishes bag appeal greatly imho....not that bag appeal is necessarily the sour dubbs strong suit to begin with...I'm a picky trimmer, I like the leaves to be gone and minimal loss of pistils, surface trich heads, etc..

How is she when it comes to cloning? I just got her a few weeks back. Was just able to snip a few clones about a week ago. Is she a bitch to root?

I don't sell half pounds, I sell eight 28 gram ounces.

I agree the dubb has the worst looks of any strain I run. Maybe a 5 out of 10 in the looks dept. It's a good thing the smell hits you smack in the face while looking at her.

keep calling her fugly and see if she keeps putting out for u like she did.:p

I do usually throw in an extra .3 or so for good measure HAHAHAHHAHA

Complaints about 28 gram zips eh?

if only this guy knew about the $20 half grams.. yikes.

maybe it's environmental but the dubb roots easier than gg4 for me personally. same with this cut of death star x dubb that i held onto. i get good strike rates and normally i'm balls at cloning.

I got cut from my heros. Was a bitch when I dipped my hand in alcohol to clean them. As for that light I cant see shit after trimming with them.

Yeh and to keep the opposition to the crowd I send out 28.5 ounces. Been yelled at for sending to light and to heavy. So that is where I set my weight.

If I can nic my finger with normal snips I can do it with the hero's lol.. Will need to put band aids on before I start. Juts checked tracking released from costumes so in the next few days should be here.

I would rather it be a little heavy then light. Might make the difference if they are returning customers.

Got the testarossa's fired up yesterday! Pretty rad little trimmers, i must say. There is definitely a bit of a learning curve with them, and thankfully that didnt involve any cuts on the fingers! Pretty happy with the results and im sure with more use ill get better with them.

Nice
Did you buck them first (remove the bigger fan leaves) or just let the testarossas handle it all?
