we had sour deisel that did that out here. we were all running it and all of a sudden several different people had runs of the same bomb ass cut turn to fucking hay. this after a looong time of running this strain. didnt even make you sticky to harvest. it smelled very faintly of sour d. its buds never filled out. no signifigant trichomes. just a bunch of hemp. we got rid of it before i figured out how to solve it so we never positively id'd the culprit. im reasonably sure i know the one sure fire way to fix it now but ill not get to try it. i wish i knew someone who still had that particular batch of sd around to prove the method on. but it was so fucked up no one kept it.vegged fine then fucking dwindled and sucked midway through flower.
