SOUR DIESEL X OG KUSH- Flowering Day 50

Posted in the GROW IT section with a question, but for all those that would like to look... here are two pics of a SOUR OG plant at day 50 in flower. She was purchased from a local clinic here in So Cal (MMJ Patient here). Let me know what you think.

I picked this girl up as a clone... it was listed as Sour Diesel X OG Kush aka Sour OG. I believe it's a diesel mom with a OG Kush dad, crossed back once more with a sloid OG Kush. At least that's what I remember hearing about the cut.

Looks very unique in terms of flower structure, never quite seen anything like it....

Nice crystals though......tell us how it smokes when the time comes, eh?

if it's the same cut that goes around Nor Cal it was a rez SDv3 male crossed to the OG kush clone. Very good smoke, maybe even better then the real OG, but that all depends on grow and smoker since we all have our own likes and dislikes.

Well it couldnt have been a OG Kush male, like I said above if it's the same as the NorCal Sour Kush it's a SDv3 male to the OG Kush clone. The SD male was one of the males I got from my pack, so thats how I know it was a V3. Not sure of any back cross, but they could have done that in the last year, I will ask them just to makesure. No matter, it's VERY nice smoke man, I'm sure you will enjoy it.

I beg to differ!!..

The Oger Kush... supposedly S1 but whatever..... very, VERY good smoke. Not as good as clone only Og Kush, but I have Grown and have SEEN some of these Ogers that are AS GOOD as most of what I have seen passed off as OG Elite..
In fact there is a thread here brand new, that has some EXCELLENT oger females.... Looks like kush, says its lemon/pine smelling....

Here is a Oger Kush Supposedly S1 male... BTW I got more males out of these seeds than females..... but like I have said the SMOKE is GREAT!! yeild needs help!!

Seems kinda strange to me that they would use an OG Kush "male" as opposed to the stable sour diesel seedline for the male. I was also under the impression that the sour OG that Oledad is speaking of was the one done by orgnkid which is NYCD x OG Kush. Must be a couplea different ones out there. Either way, your plants looks great, Id def give one of the sour OG's going around a run when I have the room. Take care and stay safe

I certainly see "Sour" Diesel in those pictures. I also have this clone and sure appreciate your pics. Mine is still in veg waiting for the grow tips to be big enough for clones. Keep us updated.

This plant is definately keeping my interest. Over the last week, the buds have really put on weight and are very solid. From day 42-49 (flower), she made her most considerable growth. The smell is also unlike any plant I've had. Over all, you can definately smell the "sour" from the diesel... not overpowering, but you can definately smell it when you enter the room. In some spots though, the flat out OG Kush smell takes center stage (when the plant is moved). For those of you that have smoked some good 818 or SFV OG Kush... you know what I mean. That lemon skunk smell that makes your mouth water. One thing for sure... she has some serious resin on her. Not sure if it's genetics or a combination of genetics and Advance Nutrient's "Big Bud" formula.

Down here in SoCal... everyone and their mother has some sort of "OG KUSH" growing out. 818 Kush, SFV Cuts, Ghost Cuts, Abrasive Cuts, True OG, Pure OG, ect. Most any OG Kush cut, when grown, harvested, dried/cured properly, is going to be some good smoke. Each cut has its own good qualities, but when you have some "real" OG... you know it. Most likely, this plant gets it's OG roots from either an SFV/818 or Ghost cut... but again, I am unsure.

If anyone has any additional information on the Sour OG cuts going around... please post.

You are right... I do like to get high, but I also have 3 compressed vertibrea in my lower spine. Not to mention the fact that I re-injured the same area about 6 months ago in a car accident. Do I have cancer... no. Advanced HIV/AIDS... no. Does Marijuana help my back spasms and otherwise help to ease the pain... most definately. Does it help me get to sleep and stay asleep without waking up every hour with back pain... hell yes.

That's the problem with people looking in from the outside on the topic of medical marijuana. Should it be used only for terminally ill patients? Some would say so. However, in CA the law reads such that any person which suffers from an illness which a licensed medical doctor in the state of CA thinks can be helped by Marijuana can get proper authorization. That means people that suffer from Arthritis, migraines, eye disease, chronic pain, insomnia, anxiety, bi-polar disorder, and Cron’s Disease can all become LEGAL medical patients.

All I know is that I'd much rather smoke a few bowls before bed than rely on the darvocet and muscle relaxers my doctor has prescribed.

And as for why SD is around in the medical scene... quite simply because of the fact that different people respond differently to different strains. What I prefer to smoke for my back pains may not be what works for someone with bad migraines. I have smoked what was said to be the finished product from this plant, and it really helped my condition. Heavy indica body high with the energenic effects of a good sativa. Win-Win for me!
