Looking good guys.

I used SD IBL straight from a regular pack of Rez's seeds, same with my IC cup entry that won,in fact they both came from the same pack.

Good luck.

Anyone else spotted hollow stems? My SDxOG #2 male was being trained and the stem snapped, next day I saw I could look right through the stem where it had bent. Hollow stems are considered to be positively correlated with potency, true or false? Guess I'll have to test the progeny to find out... it's pollinated all 4 SDxOG females as well as cherrybomb2 x malawi cherry pheno, cb2 x malawi malawi pheno, california orange, and deep chunk. can't wait to try those.

thanks again JLP, i think i'm gonna have a hell of a good time breeding with these...

Those crosses sound great muddy waters. I've used pollen from both the sdxog males on cali-o, and goldfinger. I am going to wait a for the thai to grow some more pistils before letting her have it.

Peace

Has anyone noticed any preflowers on the SDXOG while still in veg? If so, at aprox. how many weeks? Thanks.

^^^Yeah that.

Hello all,

I would like to know myself. I am 50 days from sprouting. Vegging iunder 68watts/sqft of 6400K cfl's and seem to be doing fine. I am actually wondering if I got all males this go around. I recieved six beans from JLP and have only crack three so I still have another shot.

Still though I am hopefull.

A couple of mine that I looked at had preflowers...From what I remember they were there around week six from seed...give or take...thats when I examined them closely. I threw my favorite stinky female in flower today after a couple cuts. Not as big as I would like to flower but I couldn't wait. I'll get some pics up on Monday and I'll check the rest for preflowers.

Hey Muddy...I also noticed a hollow stem on one of them when it was accidentally topped.

I have a notebook to keep track of everything...I just need to use it more. :kos:

thaiphoon, that's cool that you're crossing it to cali o as well... maybe we'll be able to make comparisons a few months from now. did you use dutch passion's or nirvana's? mine is the nirvana version and i must say i'm pretty pleased with it... dunno yet if it's true breeding though...

johnny chimpo, i too had a notebook... it was just a txt file on my computer actually... and my computer crashed and i had to reformat... i think my SDxOG began flower on 8/22... sucks losing all my other data! from now on, i'm using real paper...

minds_I, i had mine on 12/12 from the beginning, and they still took a little while... about 4 weeks or so to show... 2 males 4 females, the males showed about 2-3 days earlier than the females. if you give them one or two dark periods that may be enough to do it (?)

@muddy waters, mine is also nirvana...both plants I have look and smell very similar!
I expect the JLP cross to cut down the flowering time of the Cali-O...

Peace

Hello all,

Well its looking like these three are males. I am 80% certain on two so maybe the last will be a female.

I still have 3 beans left so I am not out of the show yet. I will be sprout them in the next few days as I have to check my grow calendar for an open slot.

I should do better with the last beans if my odds are any good.

I said I put my favorite female into flower...well it turns out it was my favorite male. I clearly had it labeled to with MPF (male preflowers). I got lucky and caught it before it impregnated anything. I'll be doing that at a later date. I threw a female into flower today and will have to see how she turns out.

dan woody, thanks bro, lucky bastard i am then because both of my 2 males have hollow stems. i am pollinating my 4 SDxOG F1 females today or tomorrow with a mix of pollen from both males. i really think the F2s may be even more interesting than the F1s (which are looking great, sorry i can't post any pics at the moment...)

I snap almost all my stems due to height restrictions and in several hundreds of plants I had NEVER noticed a hollow stem. Strange. Doesn't mean they weren't, but I couldn't see through the stem like I could with these.

Hello all,

Well its confirmed, I have 3/3 all males.

I am going to germ my last three beans in the next day or so. I am hopefull my odds might be better.

I sure would hate to be gifted what is known as some of the finest genetics only to have the bad luck of all males...

Well , heres to the next three beans... may they be all females.

As I culled the males this morning, I carefully sliced my stems and they did not seem hollow. I checked top, middle and bottom.
