I threw out the bottle of the Lost Coast so I don't remember the ingredients if it is citric acid maybe that might be an issue I did spray all over the plant under the leaves and you're right the residue does fall into the soil I did spray in the soil and all over the air pots cuz it was infested with the aphids. I can see where you're going with your hypothesis I'm learning as I'm going along. I don't know the origin of the pH problem but it's just that one plant of the Apollo that's yellowing all the sour Bluetooth are nice and green and healthy The Apollos have purple stems possibly from the nitrogen being too low.Hi,
I'm using a DIY "plant therapy" (basically following the same recipe as lost coast's).
It's very effective against spider mites, but as it is rich in citric acid, I'm worried it might be the cause of some of my plants having some PH issues...
I don't know if citric acid can be absorbed through the leaves, but when you spray the leaves there is always some residue falling on the soil.
I'm not too sure about that: in my case it's just one hypothesis among others, but now I try to avoid spraying the soil as much as possible, just in case...
Do you know the origin of your PH problems?
