With the help of a toothpick I was able to determine that I have 100% germination rate again making that 44 out of 44 on the Sour 60 and 12 for 12 on the Pink Bud.

Right now they are under a 400w MH Blue and next to that you can see the adjustawing shield that when on is going to be running another 400w MH Blue after being put into cups. When the last transplant happens i'll switch over to 1000w dimmable ballasts and different bulbs of course. One being a standard HPS and the other the Dual Arc Super Blue from Hortilux for the finish.

Almost 5 days exactly and here is how we stand.

24 for 24 Sour 60 have germed and all but one had a taproot poking out of the rapid rooter.

12 for 12 Pink Bud have germed and all showed taproot out the bottom but one had not opened on top of the rapid rooter.

Monday i'll start a group of Blue Streak seeds.

You don't need those humidity domes. They will cause more problems than anything.

Everybody is doing great the last couple laggers are now up and starting to do good. Still behind the others but doing good.

I have moved them from under the 400w Blue MH to the 1000w Horti Super Blue turned down to 500watts.

Temps are holding a steady 80 degress and still at this point I am on 24/7.

I'll be starting the next round of seeds tonight or tomorrow.

Not really sure yet. After the move I only have a hodge podge of pots so if I have the money i'll get all new pots and if not it'll be some of these and some of those.

I have fifteen 2 gallon pots and a bunch of 3 gallon blow mold pots.

Why don't you get some grow bags? Very cheap, reusable, and the main thing they dont take up any space, no huge stacks of pots and so on.

Now that the first nodes are starting to take off you can really see some change in them every time I go in for a peek.

Right now the system is set on 50% of light power. Since its a 600wHPS and a 400wBMH ( Blue MH ) bulb I am at 300wHPS and 200wBMH right ? When the Blue Streak start to sprout I am going to add another 400w BMH so that is going to be 300wHPS and 600wBMH then once everything is in its final pot whatever that may be i'll crank it up to a full 100% 600wHPS x 400wBMH and the other 400wBMH. Three weeks after that full HPS light only.

Question:

I see in my adult christmas catalog ( my hydro catalog ). That there are coco mats you put down to keep your roots from drying out. I am now seeing almost every cup with roots coming out the holes should I try and keep them moist. I know they are going to self prune or die off in other words. They are only going to be in cups for what another 10 days maybe and 14 max before sexing. So I am not to worried about any real mold or possible mildew build up. But at this point any root growth should only help, right ?

Sour 60 and PinkBud about 13.5 days from putting them in to germ. The bigger side plants are Space Queen and Blaze all club cuts....

I got 100% germ rates AGAIN on the Blue Streak with 48 out of 48 going. I put 39 in cups lastnight so I could make room for some cuttings. There are 9 that are going into cups sometime today.

Ok its been something like 8-9 days since any kind of updates.

Sour 60 are showing some males didn't look to close at many I just walked in the door from a hard day of fishing.... I went out on a ocean charter looking for salmon and I found a nice 23 pound King.

The Blue Streak are getting big and the PB were looking good didn't look close yet for any sex I am just to beat right now so I just watered and left them.

I am going to crash out for ahwhile and then i'll get some pictures and sex counts up.

Here are the Blue Streak 15 days since dropping the seeds. The light is on 75% now. I am going to start transplanting the PinkBud and S60 today and i'll get update pictures of those when I do the transplanting.

Ok here are my pot selections.

I'll put some of each in each size pot. I am buying the bigger size of Smart Pots today.

Lastnight I pulled 11 S60 males and 3 Pink Bud males and tossed. So today anything that is not showing male is going into a bigger pot. Like it or not.

So far out of the 12 PinkBud I started 3 are for sure males and pulled 8 are for sure female and one undecided at this point but getting transplanted anyway.I put the nicest PB into a 3 gallon smartpot.

Out of of the 24 S60's eleven were for sure male and 11 for sure female with two undecided and getting transplanted anyway.
