Anything Bon Jovi, I immediately switch stations whenever I hear him.

I don't mean to rant & hijack, but I think it would be interesting to share why I actually dislike the artist. I used to work security at his mother's neighborhood around 14 years ago, she was a real arrogant biotch that complained about the dumbest things.

I remember when I was working on a call at her house, & as I was getting back to my vehicle, she followed me & said, "Do you know who I am?" I asked, "What does that have to do with the situation at hand?" She then said I should be doing things that were definitely not part of my job description, so I told her that wasn't going to happen. She then threatened my job because of how famous her son is, & started getting bitchin how everyone listens & loves his music, & then I quickly cut her off & said "Not everyone!" I can't forget the look on her face, LOL.

Anyhow, I never lost my job, I ended up leaving a year later anyway. But I was happy that I NEVER kissed anybody's ass, or took crap from anyone, & didn't give a damn who they were.

If you ever watch the movie "Persepolis" there is a part where a chick is singing it in a really thick Iranian accent. Kind of amusing then, but otherwise totally. How the fuck did they have so many of those movie anyways? I guess:

I might be listening to a different genre, but in defense of music released in the 80's. Some of my favorites were released during the 80's.
Some include:
Slayer- Reign in Blood, Hell awaits
Megadeath-Peace Sells but who's buying, Killing is Business and biz is good, So far so good so what
Judas Priest-British Steel, Screaming for Vengance
Ozzy-Blizzard of Ozz Bark at the Moon
Sepultura-Beneath the remains
Metallica has a few, Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets, Kill em All, And Justice for All.
Yes all metal, but GREAT none the less! I could go on, and on. :rtfo:

Anything by Bruce Springsteen...Totally overated like The Beatles.

The Beatles aren't in the same ballpark as Springsteen... it ain't even the same MF'n sport!!

Springsteen didn't revolutionize music, he didn't sell that many albums, and he certainly didn't spread half of the love the Fab Four did.

The Beatles aren't even rated anymore... you must have remembered when people listened to good music..

The generation of today doesn't like them any more than you do.

But seriously... shame on you.

Back on topic..

Philip Glass is my definition of overrated.
