If you want practice, try taking cuttings from hosehold plants, or whatever is around.

most plants will grow roots in water, if cut nicely.

that's a great idea mpro. The only problem I have is that I cannot keep anything, other than marijuana plants, alive for more than a week or two. lol

thanks for the tips guys

At least you can keep the important one (on this forum) living. Fortunately we have excellent soil around my house, threw a seed into my tulip patch we had just finished planting, next time I looked, the seed had started growing.

My bagseeds that I'm playing around with are just in a mix of soil from the garden, and miracle grow veg/flower from walmart, and urin 1/10 dilution for fert. Going to take a few cuttings from the plant and set one in just water, one in water with a bit of movement on the cutting, and one in a bubbler. Maybe I'll do before and after pictures of the three.

peace, mp.

Great S.A.D.P.xSkunk#1 thread. My friend just got some of these beans as a freebie, and we're looking at strain reports and grow guides. I see this thread was last updated in 2005, so sorry to dig it up, but I always appreciate finding good info at this site.
Peace.
