Well I thought I would show you all what I am growing at the moment.

1st up we have South African DP X Skunk #1. Topped and fimed a bit. Doesn’t look like she will yield much at all.





Next we have Moroc x Afghani mmm cant wait to make some hash with this.






Both are at day 32 flower. I veged the South African DP X Skunk #1 for abt 4 weeks. Maybe a lil less and the Moroc x Afghani for only a week or two

All in coco and feed canna a + b.
600w HPS and I will add a 400w for the last week or two if temps are good.
Its damn hot here in oz and temps are 30+

I wet some beans last night so I will have more to show soon.

Yeah JayRoach420 i should get at least 4 or 5 i hope. Im just used to growing double dutch trees which is warlock x chronic and allways yeilds at least 7 oz even from the smaller plants. I guess i just expect that sort of yeild from all strains. Maybe i expect to much.

zeppelindood i cant wait for these HDF to grow. Hopefully i get a decent fem.

i might tie the branches back again on the 1st one and let some light into the inner buds. also i will start to pump some pk13/14 into em. 15 ish days to go. my guess is 4 oz max dry ;(

Good to see some updates. I was getting curious. They are starting to look nice.So you gonna take her down at 52 days? Isnt that early or is that just me. Either way, they are looking good.

Looks like your gonna have some tasty smoke, your DP x Skunk looks VERY nice. And when you get some HDF into your garden your gonna love it!

Thanks Tim. I can’t wait for the HDF to kick on. I am also pretty keen to see how the bubblicious and POG f2's turn out.

Jay I am going to use my microscope and wait for %25 amber trichomes on both. I will let the plants tell me when they are ready.

Here is a pic of my ghetto bubble cloner in action. I bought a budget air pump and thought I would give it a try. I had a couple of clones from the dp x skunk so I decided to experiment and I got one that was abt 2 weeks old and had a fair bit of roots. But I shook of the coco and cut the jiffy peat puck and ripped it off with most of the roots. Crewel huh? I then stick it in the sink and let the roots wash for abt half an hour. Soaked! Now she is in the cloner and looks to love it in there. In my cloner I just have straight tap water and a little coco a+b juice in there. I added the nutes cause it already has a fair few roots.
If she goes well I will stick her a 5 gal (20 litre) bucket with some real nutes.
She looks much better today. Her life was turned upside-down abt 12 -14 hours ago

sweet, well if I don't by anything else to hold my eventual clones, I'll use milk caps, have lots of those.

Yeah mpro I like that style also but I only root one or two cuttings at a time. For this reason I want it to be a multipurpose bubble cloner / small dwc bucket. I can root the clones in it with plane water for a week or two then just change the water and add nutes and veg for a week or two.
After that I can just pop em out with the pool noodle “mediumless medium (lol)” and pop them into their own 20 litre (5gal) buckets.
At the moment I am in the process of getting my 4-bucket perpetual harvest dwc buckets set up. Probably bio buckets. Anyway I have a couple of weeks up my sleeve till I have to make a final decision.

These are the Moroccan x Afghani. Looks like she would be a good producer. Wish I let this one veg for more than a week. I also wonder what effect training would have on this plant. Looks very promising. :bigeye:















Next we have south African DP x skunk#1. Freebie pack. Looks like this strain is very underrated if they are given away. Looks pretty damn frosty to me. :yummy:
I can’t wait to make some hash with both these strains.
Must be a heavy server load it’s taking a while to upload these pics. Test grower quality pics :wink:

jj: I hope you don't mind me asking you some questions then, I'm just about to start a dwc bucket grow. You don't have root tangle after cloning for 2 weeks, and vegging for 2 weeks in the same bucket? This will be my first grow, so I don't have anything to refference on. If thats possible, then I'll be doin' the same setup for cloning, as I'm only doing 3 plants at a time, 4 max. in 5gal buckets.

Well I am going for a perpetual harvest with 4 buckets so I only clone one or two at a time and tangled roots isn’t an issue for me. When they get a lil crowded they just get moved to their own bucket. It may become a problem with a more than a couple of clones in the same container. I hear lots of people trim their roots so I wouldn’t stress too much if they get a little tangled.
Good luck with your first grow. As long as you have all the necessary tools you should be fine.

Those look nice! Your S.A.D.P x SK turned out a lot better than mine, but you will never hear me complain about a freebie!

You are right strainwhore. Can’t complain. The buds aren’t the biggest I have grown but they are pretty damn frosty. Not bad for a freebie, not bad at all.

When I bought the Moroccan x Afghani I gota say I was pretty sceptical about the results I would achieve with the strain. It is a cheapie after all, but I am more than impressed with it. I hoped for a few nice buds to smoke and some bubble. Now I look at it I see a real potential producer. Its day 46 flower and I had to stake it this morning. Seems it is going to collapse under the weight of its buds. Can’t wait to see the end result. I only vegged it for about 10 days so whatever the result I know I can improve by a fair margin.

very nice bubbler jjfto. just moved to the bubble cloner from rockwool myself. just wondering, do you let the cutting hang completely IN the water? I had a slow time getting roots, but i let the sit right above the water level with the bubbles bursting on them. you think that could be the reason? thanks for the time and info

yeah mate in the water. u gota try and get at least 1 or 2cm in the water. u will have better luck rooting now ;)
