Something out of the ordinary...

Tonight i bought about 3.5 grams of either increadible pot or laced pot that looked amazing. It was very increadible looking (full of crystals, defninitely of the nug class). We paid standard price for our area. After proceeding to smoke a bowl as the pot was lit it sparked and crackled like no other pot i have ever seen. It was similar to what a hookah charcole does when you first light it. mini crackels and pops) After smoking the bowl we then feared the pot was laced and stop smoking, and examined it under a microscope. No signs of any powder or anything out of the ordinary. The eighth was one big christmas tree bud. (Impressively grown). But i am not sure wheather i have amazing pot or if i have something i should flush. The unusual poping and spraks make me uneasy. The high is nothing out of the ordinary either (more intese but not like i feel like i am speed up or anything. Just very potentent high) I have shown my friends who know quite a bit about pot and they claim it just looks amazing, but they still have their suspicions. Trash it or keep it?

You know, the cracking and popping almost sounds like the ground-glass laden stuff that seems to be making the rounds in Europe... but I'd think you'd notice that right away under closer examination...

i just have never had bud that crackels and pops like this before. VERY potent, but under close examination, no signs of lacing can be found.

Is it a possible that it is/was a bit wet?

When I was younger I bought a couple sacks here and there that had been "misted" with water in order to make them heavier......fookin' dealers.

Either that or you are smoking Rice Crispies....snap, krackle, pop....lol.

I'd def. be a bit suspicious too...probably nothing to worry about tho.

This scenario is one of the many reasons that I and other peeps grow their own. You know what it is, you know where its been, and you dont have to deal w/ shady "street level" drug dealers.

I apologize for my shoddy memory, but isn't some cracking and popping possible with too much... Phosphorous? One of the three anyway... never really ran into that problem myself.

Could be that it wasn't flushed (chemical ferts), isn't dried completely, it is laced, or as previously stated: you were sold rice krispies. Is it real "sticky" or what?

sounds like something i've run into before and im pretty sure the problem was an incorrect flush like JollyGreenGiant suggested.

nothing to really worry about, just might make it taste sub-par but i don't think it'll affect you in any negative way.

If weed has too many fertilizers in it; it will crackle and pop. Maybe water cure it if it bugs you that much. Smoking fertilizers can't be too good.

It could be really dry. or maybe there are immature seeds in it.
