thanks a lot guys! i'm super excited for sure...very happy with my CSG genetics so far. Kinda blows about the hermied Strawberries and Cream #2 but everything else currently running from OJD & crew is absolutely top notch and a pleasure to grow.
quick update, the plants in the 400w tent have been on plain water for 4 or 5 days and I plan to give them another 3 and chop them Wednesday evening. I may leave the C99 for another few days only because it is being a little stubborn about finishing up, which is surprising since I thought it would finish way faster than everything else.
The Rainbow Jones is throwing bananas like it's going out of style, just some standard late flowering nanners looks like. It's too far to be an issue and it's not a full blown hermie, so I'm not worried about it. Actually, I'm excited about it -- the best herb I've smoked in the last 2 years is this Jager (I think they sometimes refer to it as "Jager OG" too?) that a friend out west sent over, apparently it's from Southern Oregon and is an old worked Hindu Kush line. Well, that one throws late flowering nanners too, and it just so happens that the smell from a squeeze of the Rainbow Jones is dead on anise and hashplant, just like the Jager.
600w tent is still looking good and I will be switching to plain water probably this coming Saturday so I can chop the following Saturday, which will be right at 12 weeks. That should allow just enough time for me to comfortably hang dry these, give them a day or two in the paper bags, and jar them so all the girl has to do is burp them a couple times while I'm in Colorado. (btw, anybody reading this that is going to the cup, send me a PM so we can burn one while I'm there...)
Gonna try dry trimming for the first time with the 400w plants and hang them up whole, wish me luck. Might still do my normal trim on the 600w tents since they're too big to hang whole I think...
The least frosty but most interesting Sour Hazy Jones so far...been eyeballing this one since day one and I have the feeling it's going to be the best of the bunch for daytime smoke....
Another of that SHJ....
Rainbow Jones finishing up nicely...the fresh pistils are misleading, pretty sure this thing would be pushing pistils til day 100 if I let it go that long
and one more Sour Hazy Jones that is completely different from all the rest in terms of aroma, appearance, and structure...super greasy and super funky for sure....
Took down one of the Cheese n Chaze (the smallest one), taking down another couple tonight and the rest on Saturday...looking pretty good! excited to smoke these...puffed on some quick dried Rainbow Jones last night and enjoyed it very much...
Looking proper dude! I'm curious about the Rainbow Jones and what's your take on it ? I have a pack of these to run at some time also. Your pictures are making me want to move them up in line and give them a go sooner than later.
You have so many nice looking plants bro with so many different flavors going on that's what I'm talking about. Enjoy your harvest.
