i go by what i read, and i know wos is not reputable...the budd looks good though,,so i could care less,, im in 9th week starting to see hints of amber,i guess its time to flush,i like to do a 3 week flush usually,on wos site it says the wild thai goes 12-14 weeks,so i figured i had more time, but anyways i like to go 30-50% amber fairly medicinal, but not couch lock,ty u guys,,im now learning about breeders, and there reputations,im also growing some warlock from magus genetics;) here are some pics of those, sorry about the webcam any of you grown this plant? sorry for talking about warlock in a sativa thread :)

Hi all !

Mmm....we´ll go on with the pics and some more info.
This time some of my work while testing some Congo x Pakistan Chitral.I was curious and wanted to find something wich was faster and sth fatter than Congo that would also keep the active high and wouldnt be so big and airy structure branching.I didnt thought I would find it in the first attempt but it appeard hehe!

I grew some seeds and found a pheno that remembered the Pakistan while vegging:strong plant with strong stems and little internodal distance, that grew fast and vigorous. When the lights where switched 12/12 it came the best part....hard and resinous buds with small and brilliant leafs that remember pakistan. But days passed and the odour reminded more like the Congo mother, like carrots-wood-spicy.Finally there where calyx towers forming everywhere in the medium-final stage while they flower, making something more airy the buds, but the inside part was still very hard.It ended up with 70-72 days and nice production.

The high and taste after smoking it reminded the Congo but with something more of density in the smoke. The base on the smoke is Congo with a touch of more dense flavour. The high remains quite active, longlasting and clearminded, good for working non stop or to give it all in a party hehehe. Not the best if you´re trying to sleep...

I´ll reagroup the pics and bring them now!

Peacee

Impressive work Txopin-Iruña! both on the landraces job, and specially the superb pics!

I'd print a poster-sized Pakistan Chitral, its pics at page #3 are impressive.

I'm new to growing, but got very gladly surprised when knowing I live in a country with very good growers, aiming to work for landrace survival and spread! (I'm in Seville)

Un pasote esos chicarrones del Norte!!! :)

BTW How's the flavour on the Pakistan!?!

Please keep those beautiful pics going!!!

Hi !!

Repuk....thanks for your words...te pasaste hehe, really happy knowing you like and value these things :rasta:Do you pass by any spanish cannabis forums?
The Pakistan is something I´ve never had similar in smell and taste. Its quite difficult to explain what it´s like....at first and before been cut the plant smells fine to humid soil, like mushrrom and humid forest.Once cut, dried and cured it continues to have that background smell but with some kinda wine odour very characteristic and pleasant with a little hash touch also well cured. Is very differente from the rest of things I´ve had and most people here that have smoke it says the same, and also some good words also :)

I think I have some more pics on Pakistan...I go on searching some more and bring them here up to you man!

Peace !

Simply beautiful,Txopín-Iruña! :respect:

Those last shots of the Congo x Pakistan Chitral look like they came out of DJ Short's garden!
Very inspiring! I have some similar genetics from LMN and other spanish "brothers" :friends: and seeing yours, makes me want to start them as soon as possible! Best wishes!

you can get some sativa seeds from various places, from bricks of swag, travelling, from seed vendors (you could ask ACE's/CBG, there's also the brazilian seed company, the gypsy nirvana landrace collection at seedbay, there's also the real seed company (related to DNA), bluehemp, i think seedsman have some landraces too) and i bet there's a lot more of sources where you can get some tropical sativa seeds. hope you find something nice! Saludos!

Yes, but haven't posted too much, have read you on cannabiscafe (aeros?) I think.

mmmm... sounds great, it tastes as its looks suggest! What about the high? is typical indica stone?

I think I have some more pics on Pakistan...I go on searching some more and bring them here up to you man!

Thanks! no doubt this is a very appealing strain, and your good pics honour it!! love the purple/green contrast.

Judging for the lasts pics, was that paki put to flower from seed? or are they that short? Looks like an excellent strain for SOG indoors???

Hi all !!

Highlighter...thanks for your words man!Dj short uff...respect for him and his gardens hehe.Dont miss much time and put that seeds to germ, great things can come from up there knowing where they come from!!

El gordo....hehehe,sounded almoust here that villian voice hehe.Good look with those chitral, hope you can find what you´re looking for :)

floydfanx6....El gordo has done a good joob with that recopilation of sources to find landraces, there are more and I think the best can be the ones from travels or people that travel and you can know well,so you can know the exact place from where they come, and very probably, how the plants where in the best moment while grown in their countries of origin, the purity that those genetics should have, etc.

Repuk....Iep,aeros in many places I where I (mostly) read, and also write (less).
The high on the Pakistan Chitral is nice...indica type as you say but not heavy at all as those ones that leave you with no mental force to do anything. Its relaxing, calm and good mood high, very lienal and it last for a good time, leaving you fine body/mind before having smoked.Nice indica effect this one, like it much.

Well.....still have to bring here some Original Oldtimer´s Haze pics, also some F1 forms created with Thai mother and some small number of sativas.....later on I´ll continue with the actual grow and things I´m doing to continue giving live to the thread.

Peace all!

Hi !

Each time less things to see of what we´ve grown and worked up to date. But there´s still some good things.Next it goes my pics on what I´ll go on growing hehe.

Here with some genetics we got directly from Cannabiogen:
Meao Thai x Jamaica85.

Very good results and production but we didnt continue this line :fsu: ...I think the boss decided to rip every thai we had when he saw some hermi traits in some of them while revegging them when the outdoor fotoperiod became wider and they hadnt finished to flower. It´s a pity...thais on f1´s were amazing!

Lovely thread and work Txopín-Iruña

It's a pleasure to see a wide diveristy of landrace plants and crosses so nicely matured outdoors.

Did you reproduce dalat? It was very hard to find a pure male when i tried it, i only found hermie males.

Keep up the great work! dubi

Hi dubi ! Thanks for your words and stopping by!

Well, the work in that sense with the Vietnam Dalat was hard,so the selection that was done with 32 seeds ended with only two females with at least some differences in their fenologic aspect (one purple, the other green) and one pure male. There where hermies during all the process that were removed, lots of them...in page 6 there is something more of info about the work and grow of this strain.

Now I´m growing some Vietnam x Afghan and everything seems to go on well,no surprises yet and they are in flower for around 2-3 weeks forming buds yet.I´ve got also 2 males.....I think they may be close to mid-flower and everything well also here,no surprises but we´ll pay attention until they finish to be sure there are no hermies in the cross.

I´m enjoying this cross, they start to flower faster than what I thougt...and the smell is nice right now, some differences in size but nothing that cant be managed well, and good calix to leaf ratio.I´ll try to have some shots and bring them here soon!

Peace!

Iep,buenas,hi all!

This one goes for Stoned 16 :rasta: and everybody :rasta:

Some Herbaria Bushmans we had the luck of finding and growing.Very very nice plant. The lineage is said to be pure southafrican strain.

Talking about it I can say its a very interesting plant.Sativa but small in size, developes a good and straigh branching,it look like more an indica while growing for its size and strength, also for the hard buds it forms. It appear to be quite homogeneus, with very little variation between different plants, even with males/females that look very similar in size and shape.Very fast flowering,it ends up in about 55 days with hard nugs and a high production.Very good ratio calix/leafs...and this calix are big in size.Males in this strain where also impresive, very productive with lots of flowers in all the plant. We´ve been using them for many crosses wich are giving good results.

No doubt its a plant we like a lot and we´ll continue to grow, and use to create new things.

I´ll search now some pics to illustrate all this info :)

Peace!
