Hello Wally, it's been a long time bro. I'm glad to see everythings green. Terrific forest you got there. I wish I could grow outdoor like you but the deer would have a field day (pun intended). Do roos eat at your garden? They must be something like deers.
hey oyster magnet , sure sounds like them finish folk know what they are talkin ab out , , hehehe ...
hey doc , well as u can see the soil is pretty prime already .. and yes i ca n get away with very little ferts often .. but i do add a few things , and it has improved the soil over the year s , just about have to chase your shovel as u drive it into the soil , or should i say loam ? , its the nicest most friable , tillable and just all round fantastic soil ... oh the tropical sun also does its part .. hehehe ..
hey smokey , yep i get critters chewin on the herb , once they get a taste is hard to keep them away too ,, i have a fence all the way round , dug into the ground a foot and has an electric wire around the t op ,, seems to slow the little guys down a bit , hehehehe ..
hey payaso , good to see u my friend , thanku for the compliments on the herbage , and very glad u guys came to see our humble abode ...
we were pretty battered in the storm , but i think it was a good catylst for many other things .. sure has thrown some cash into the economy around here , so we are all happy amongst our piles of branches and rubble , hehehehe
Looks like you have had your hands full wally. Plants look nice and lush as usual. On the west coast winter is in full swing only a few months till go time for next outdoor season. Cant way
all those plants are down now , dried and long gone , the pics were january 10 , most of them ,, i had success after with a few more , but the storm we had made short work of 10 -15 lbs , that layed to rest amongst the broken twisted area they inhabit after the damage was done ...
in the meantime i have unearthed , removed debree, trees and branches and rebuilt the area better than before , the cover is less , but i will also get a lot more sun in there now ,, more watering , but more resin , and fatter tighter buds and plants .. isnt as though the sun was lacking , but is just nice to have it there from sun up to sun down , otherwise u are missing out on full potential .. only way to get buds as fat as your thighs . hehehee ..
in the meantime im just cruising through the gallery seeing some good th ings from previous grows that is nice to share ... ... ;
how are these from the dreaded plural of kush collection , yes i got the odd hermie on the odd plant , but the ones th at didnt really performed well .... as u can see ...
sure have grown a bit of herbage around these parts the last few years i am noticing ,,, heres a ducksfoot from the first seed i grew off the initial mother duck , the buds were beautiful , around 4 inches across when full , mostly covered in pink pistils , and with a stench that u just couldnt hide ,,, hehheehe , one bud of this herb would stink your whole car out like a fresh lb of usual herb ...
i found a few seeds from this plant the other day ,, not that many , bu t ill grow them out this season ,, i kn ow what to expect , itll be fun to see and smell them again ,, th e valley will stench of duck again , hehehehe
have a few more memorable duck plant shots as well ...
ive been sent the odd seed to try out over the years , some worthy , some not so , some lived up to th eir names well , others hard to know what to expect with the surrounding hype ...
anyhows , heres some sativa i was sent by a texan , it was a lovely few plants we grew from it , definately pure sativas by the way the reacted to our climate and day light hours ... and had huge fat buds that were a lovely lemony smell ,, ...
