8 month cure blue-black rain and rain cloud, rain cloud is the last pic. i was surprised to see that the rain cloud had kept some of its pink and purple hairs even after such a long cure.

How does your rain cloud compare to blue-black rain in effect? I'm glad someone else is using the Colombian black. I have a colombian black/ black congolese x cabeça de nega that I can't pick over. Smells of dark licorice and coffee.

the blue-black rain has more energy to the high and the rain cloud is slightly dreamy. the rain cloud also pulled over more of the special quality of the pure thai. the quality is hard to to put in words but if i had to, i would say a feeling of love for everything that puts a very good perspective of life in your mind.

your colombian black/ black congolese X cabeça de nega sounds awesome. if you don't mind me asking where did you get the black congolese from. i've been looking for a good congolese.

I got mine from a relative who was located in Africa for 4 years. There is a Red-Stemmed Congo PN x Black Congolese from TSC. It is very similar. The Congo PN smells more woody spicy, while the black is typical licorice. Both are very potent, reasonable flowering time and provide a electric high.

I wish I had a control to compare your strains to. Did you smoke the colombian black pure? How does it compare to the Colombian Black or the Cabeça de nega.

the blue-black rain has a deeper, more daze out and feel type of high then the pure colombian black while still providing energy. the licorice taste carries over in the cross with some added lemon lime and funk. some plants will lean towards one or the other in the taste. the high is overall clear unless you smoke too much.

the rain cloud is closer to the cabeça de nega. its alot more internaly focused in the head then the cabeça with a psychedelic high. it is slightly more cloudy to the high too, but in a good way.

2 super metal haze f2 shots and the last one is a bangladesh cross i've been working on. the super metal haze project may be done sooner then expected as there is very little variation in the f2s.

rain cloud is a female rain thai crossed to a male c99. then a selected female was chosen from that cross and pollinated by a rain thai male. so rain cloud is 75% rain and 25% c99 in its make up.

the pure rain is the lowest yielding plant that i've seen and some plants will hermie.

the idea of rain cloud is to boost the yeild and remove the hermies while still maintaining the high of the pure rain.

that c99 will help kick the hermie traits and probably help its yeilds . id breed back one more time to the c99 and then one more to the thai. good choice for your desired traits with c99
she wont hermie at all unless chems are used :tiphat:hats off to u for doin your homework

the c99 waters the high down so i didn't want to add anymore to it. i haven't seen any hermies so far in the rain cloud. i'm working through the f2s right now. the plan is to inbreed till its ibl status while selecting more towards the thai phenos.

yeah but the c99 will eliminate the hermies , if c99 waters down the strain sign me up for a pk ... my C99 keeper GF pheno is killer

the rain cloud won't be ready for another year but there is some Cabeca de Nega x Rain Cloud at the bay. if you can handle 18+ weeks of flowering the blue-black rain is listed there too. both strains will give you a better quality high then the c99.

i haven't ran the rain cloud 12/12 from seed yet. i like to run them on 13-14 hrs light on till i get clones off of them then flower them to see which ones to select for the next generation of seed. i will do a 12/12 run on the f3 seeds just to see how they will do for indoor growers.
