some blue crosses

nice fotos!

my new rooms are 100% light tight :D they are subteranean - in the basement. there is no light leaks or possibility there of.

the grow setup is pretty much flawless. if it would have been the growroom - then a lot more of the other of the 30 plants should have had same problem.

the pandora started of with female preflowers, and in flowering it only produced male flowers. if i wouldnt have had a second check it would have polinated even more. its a bit of a bugger but not much one can do. sometimes some plants get confused :D its cool

no worries for me - i bet next round of the pandys will go better :D

peace

Hmm what about the pH? light is only 1 stress factor but overwatering/nute'overdose can be very harmful as well. i also observed poor resin development in hot rooms with bad air. anyway sorry to hear about your experience ..but hey i wouldn't throw this beans away... you may get all female

thats how an indoor pandy should look like before flushing...

nice! i can see my blockberry is looking similar in structure :D but not as productive because of low light intensity.

that room has low light intensity - because it is for trying out a lot of new things. i grow in coco.. wich is hydro :D i have noticed before som genetics dont like the allways wet conditions a hydroponic grow means. its normal i guess :D

for example the pure PTK's, DC etc didnt like coco at all in the beginning :D

ph in coco is allways where it should be because of its properties - i.e hydro ph - around 6 etc..

but this is not a problem :D i mean its only one bean of the lot :D

:D awesome.. the blockberry is a slow one to get going but when it does get going - it doesnt stop :D

i put to reveg one that i particularly liked - chunky round big nugs, around 10 weeks -and its a nice flavour i want to keep :D

as soon as she revegs properly i will clone her and do a proper round of flowering with a bunch of them :D

peace!

High'all:)!

new blue crosses were born for the new year! :jump:

i like the fact that the Blueberry is not a dominant line & the bb males are usually a great combination for the fine tasty background in the hybrids. the purple/blue color potential is also passed in the next generation, but low temps are needed at least in the final 2 weeks of flowering/maturing.

~produced are;

Haze/berry {no new special name:)
Bubblegum/berry or just bubbleberry
DC/berry or chunkberry or phantom :D

i'm very interested how the chunk/berry will grow outdoorz this year in our area. i can almost predict some very dank purple stuff. bubbleberry is the vice versa from blueberry/bubblegum or shorter berrybubble. this can be only some incredible sweet/pungent flavor but the whole cross will help me for more better testing/observing and understanding which traits are certainly passed from each parent plant. Haze/berry is my first mostly sativa cross and will be tested only indoors. all small/private numbers of seeds (tactical per-flower pollination) so plz no pm attacks.

now the seed-pics...

haze/berry seed can be found on second pic (the haze mother plant is a charming Thai pheno:)

Awsome XYZ. I made the same cross with the Berry IBL and the Deep Chunk. I had some outside this last summer and it was way earlier than Blueberry was. Had some troubles at the end of the year so didn't get to try any out though. Will be giving it a go again though this summer. And those seed pics are outstanding.

hey thanks dudes! :D

fj - hope i wrote clear enough ...the phantom is not tested yet... on the pic is the DC mom, & her leaf structure is not much different from what i already have in my gallery (the dc/berry seeds will be tested this year:)

Guyute - the berry & dc (fn+2) were from my stock right? you also used the dc female?!?
...would love to see if some1 makes the vice versa (berry female with the chunky male:)

using the same lines does not mean we have identical crosses ...although they are both relatively stable genetics... still every plant is a bit different. numbers and selection is the key, especially in the berry. good that you made your own combination though ...have only 109 of my chunkberry seeds... so sharing could be a problem. i may give 10 to a good local friend and the 99 will be planted all with the goal of selecting a keeper for this outdoor season

I've done a few Blue crosses, most notable was a BlueBerry/BubbleBerry some years back.

Love that pic of them near alien looking beans bursting out of trichome laden calyx's.

Beautiful work, XyZ

I'm sure it'll be an interesting trip with them krazeee looking beans.

Hey guys, have been very busy last few months. Here is some action now. All the seeds were from XYZ. they are about 2 weeks into flowering. Soil, 7 l containers. Some vegetation, had some problems with powdery mildew, to little ventilation. But I fixed that problem when i put them on flowering.
