Hey folks,
first things first, my nutrient knowledge isn't very deep...
Thusly I decided to go with the Lucas Formula to find my base levels after not growing for 10 years.
Then take it from there and make adjustments going along.
My soilless mix will consist of:
- Moss mix (peat moss, sphagnum moss, it's a moss mix available here. It does include some Magnesium, Calcium and unfortunately also a teenzy bit of sulphur)
- Perlite
- Worm castings
For "my" Lucas Formula I was going to go with:
- General Hydroponics Flora micro
- General Hydroponics Flora bloom
When re-potting from veg to bloom containers (2-4L for veg into 8-12L for bloom), I will spread some mycorrhizae around the roots.
This is it so far for me.
I have been doing some more reading and saw that many suggest "Floralicious Plus", molasses or some other additive for the later stages of blooming.
Unfortunately, Floralicious Plus (same as Maxibloom) is not available to me.
As a replacement for Maxibloom I have GH Flora micro/bloom.
But no replacement for the Floralicious Plus yet...
Some stuff that is available to me and I think could be a replacement?:
- GHE Ripen
- GHE Diamond Nectar
- GHE Bio Bud
That's it for GHE from what I can see.
The Hesi, Plagron, Atami and BioBizz lines are also available along with some others which I haven't really considered yet (Aptus Bioshark Premium, Hortilift, Gout, Dutch-Pro to name a few...).
Next I read that many use some form of Enzyme to help break down the salts in the soil, especially if they are using mineral based fertilizers like I plan to use (if I am not mistaken hehe) with the Flora micro and bloom.
From GHE I would have available:
- GHE FloraKleen
Should I use it? Is it even what I think it is? Or should I go for example with the Hesi PowerZyme?
What about PK 13/14? Ignore or include?
Sorry if I am such a noob with ferts... I really tried to read into it more but ultimately just said "fuck it, Flora micro and bloom, Lucas formula and take it from there".
But the growshop I want to purchase from is quite far away and I would rather buy a liter bottle or two of stuff I won't end up using in the long run for 10-20 bucks each, than having to make another trip in a few months, which will cost much more than that just from gas...
Any help is highly appreciate folks!
