You'll have to transplant sooner than 2 weeks in a 16-20 ounce cup. I transplant my seedlings about 5 days after they pop and before the roots become constricted by the small cups. I'm used to my way of doing things and the plants don't seem to mind.

A 16 oz. beercup should be good until approx. this size. I believe it was 2-3 weeks from breaking the soil's surface...

Edit: Pic was Mar 15, seed broke soil on Feb 20.

Peace

The CFLs will help keep em warm which is what u want. Yes plastic wrap will work or a small platic bag. If you dont have a seed mat then maybe a heat mat or the tv for warmth to encourage rooting. But you dont have to have any light until the seedling opens it first little leaves.

Hey Pirate! I took your advice on the heat mat and put it and the three freshly planted seedlings in a rubbermaid container. I didnt have any cling wrap on hand (or plastic bags) but I was thinking if I just put the lid on that it might be just as good??

Facelift, thanks for coming in! It's cool getting different growers opinions, so i value all the advice i can get!!

I'm going to start a journal and post pics later, maybe you can stop in and when I get to a point where you think i should re-pot them you can give me a heads up?

Yeah, its just all about trapping in moisture. Seedlings and Clones have to have humidity and warmth to root. Make sure you dont overwater to, it can damp em off and they die.
