So you dont like taking baths, huh?

Got this thing running......

I am pulling funds together for a California light works solarstorm 880 and am looking at titan electronics hyperion1 and 8 light trigger switch(for future endevors), titan co2 setup with 20# tank, a clean air 30 pint/liter?? Dehum and Phat filters for intake/hepifilter and airscrub/out

Still trying to figure out ac/heat...funds are getting low

Save some money on environment/light controllers:
Arduino (<$17) - http://www.amazon.com/Funduino-ATme...8&qid=1400773380&sr=1-8&keywords=arduino+mega
Thermometers (5 for $10)- http://www.amazon.com/Vktech-DS18b20-Waterproof-Temperature-Transmitter/dp/B00CHEZ250/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1400773524&sr=8-1&keywords=ds18b20
Relays (8 for $12) - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00C8O9KHA/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me=&seller=
Contactor ($10) - http://www.amazon.com/Packard-C230B-Pole-Contactor-Volt/dp/B001KGSJ74/ref=aag_m_pw_dp?ie=UTF8&m=A29ALSH9LYAI2U

So for $50 you can monitor the temperature in 5 locations, including under water. And you can turn 8 devices on and off with the relays. One of relays can control the large contactor so you can turn a high amp device (lamp) on and off.

Cost is only one of the benefits of an Arduino. In my opinion, flexibility is its greatest benefit. CO2 sensors, humidity sensors, motion sensors, light sensors, moisture sensors, etc, can all be hook up. A little easy programming and you can have stuff turning on and off based on the sensors, or time of day, or manual overrides.

For a diy'er, an Arduino, or clone, is a no brainer.
