Hey folks ordering is tomorrow I have a pretty good idea what I am going to do with my grow space. I took a video just looking for some feedback from the grow guys. I want to see if I am even close.

So I want to know what "you" would do if you had this space and 2grand otd to spend on everything from plastic to plants. I hope to get some creative ways to utilize the space in all it's abnormalities to the fullest potential.

if I had lots of money to spend, I'd look at filling the space with GHE aquafarms...but that's just a little "wet" dream I'm having - I've only just started my first grow and know nothing

Seal/strip the closet with panda polly and have a multi bucket system... Go with what you know.. soil or hydro. Hydro would be less work.. either or make sure that closed is sealed and you can get some good lookin ladies in there! Throw a few air-cooled 600's and that should be enough.. Depends on the size of the room for your wattage...

Seal off the other part of the bathroom for clones or something of that sorts. You could do a zipper wall system.. multiple walls.. all with zipper doors.

What ideas were you thinking? I know it takes a good amount of planning to get something going.. if you've got a limit, then start making a list of everything you will need, and go get quotes. Order online, or cash from local grow store.!

My plan is to seal the window with a box. Put a shelf over the toilet turn that into my clone area. (due to height restriction. seal off the shower remove the door build a shelf over the top to place my ac. Seal the room for the end of the sink all the way across. zip in to an L shaped room with a zip to the left leading into the closet.use plastic and velcro to inclose the 4x3.5 area in front of the shower Use that area as my 3x3 e n f flower. with 600w digital. Aircooled hood. Also 2 2' floros 10x reptile bulbs. Depending on what I decide for nutes... still thinking about letting the local guy talk me into going cheap and as that seems to be the consensus here I will prolly go with simple cheap nutes. As far as Co2 another one of those need to get my hands dirty. Prolly just gonna run the bucket $139 for 3 months as of now.

I will be putting airstones in the res as well as the tray.

Quick question SEEDBAY many many endorsements. Are the debit card purchases as safe? I live in Ca with card. Is it still considered illegal for me to receive these seeds under "state" law?

I want to order my seeds tonight. Though I will be heading out to a club for clones for the first run. I should have plenty of room to sprout and veg. them while I am dialing in everything. I am looking for 3 or 4 strains... 1 when I have to get shit done.. 1 that will cause couchlock from smell alone. 1 and one thats a nice blend of the 2 maybe a lady favorite. I know I can read up on all the strains etc. I was hoping one of you could recommend 3 strains that all had these different aspects while requiring a similar feeding schedule?
I understand that what I am asking for is impossible.

Any suggestions on how to keep the res temp down? I will hold off on purchasing anything but I would like the info handy if I need it. Come summer I will need it.

Remove toilet and utilize water and drain then use under sink for clone space split so top is veg and rest of space is flower id use 1KW for flower and 400w for veg area then cfl for clone space having the toilet removed and having drain and h20 hose is huge if done properly. I feel you know what to do so plan plan and plan then order. Best of luck

Ok so chiller it is.. You know you guys are right about the Co2 thing. I probably should wait. I am having a really hard time letting go of the co2 though. I don't know why. Stubborn I spose I keep saying tomyself with all the experienced growers I should be able to dial in a system in a few days. Then I remember I have no idea what I am in store for. I can read all the jorge cervates books, forum after forum after forum, picking as many brains as will put up with me, etc etc etc.

I will tell you as of now I am going to forgo the Co2. I do however plan on running my system dry for as long as it takes. If I get everything relatively dialed, in a short amount of time I will prolly attempt to implement the Co2.

I am a bit stoned so I hope I am not coming off as arogant or worse ignorant. I truly do appeciate all of your advice. Please keep it coming.

When everything gets here I will run a complete list to see if I am forgetting anything.. I decided i was gonna get most of my stuff from the local guy. At least the larger items. I haven't ordered any seeds... I'm chicken I will admit it. That and I still haven't settled on any strains.

Update;

I have a 3x3 tray, 2 600w digi's w/ extrasun hoods, 25' panda. Everything else should be here tomorrow.

I do have a couple of questions though. I wanted to put hortilux bulbs but the local guy said that they weren't compatable? He sold me some Ushio's and said they were the best bulb on the market? He also said that I didn't need a pm meter? he said the drops were cheaper and more accurate?

The guy seemed to be on the level. Tested him a couple times. He passed. I told him I found a guy I could get alot of the equipment used. He told me that he couldn't think of anything other than nutes that he wouldn't buy used. So he's not just trying to make a profit. Anyway wanted to get your opinions. and if I go with the ph drops do I still need an ec meter?

Your hydro store guy is plain ignorant to believe some inferior technique on measuring ph is more accurate. My buddy who relied on drops and who I told everyday to get himself a meter finally went and got one and as soon as he calibrated and checked his current solution, he was at 4.5 ph with the digital, and what he thought was in reason for the drops, then he adjusted the water just like he normally would with the drops...and came out 6.5 digitally, instead of the 6.0 he thought he was at. He no longer uses the drops.
