I see one honcho from MUFON who interestingly put little chance of any of these being extra terrestial
you can't kill the boogie man,you can't shoot down a 'real' UFO
i'm with you. anything of alien engineering is quite possibly beyond our ability to easily destroy, and i can't come up with a rational reason why we would try, either. that's no way to treat a visitor...

If the UFOs are alien then time travel of some sort would be necessary. Some think that is what CERN is about.

Why do you think that ?

Almost every generation of Homo Sapiens acquires more knowledge of Physics than the one before it.

And we know that Gravitational Attraction, as defined by the F (proportional to) M1 x M2/ d^2

where D is the distance between them -

that Gravitational Force travels at the speed of Light - suggesting that Gravity itself is a form of Light.

and in a few more generations - unless the US starts World War 5 - we will know MORE about how to travel between the stars.

Your statement implies that the only way to travel between the stars is to somehow go back in time.

What's wrong with the other way - going really fast and waiting many years ?

Aliens are simply us; shifting b/w time & dimensions, I figured everyone knew that by now ;)

perhaps the more mysterious UFOs will never be explained
humans will never understand what they are or why they do what they do
science is a wondrous tool and shown us so much
but is everything explainable by science? maybe not everything

BTW the military quit looking for any debris from the balloons they shot down. Must have been really important stuff, well worth the media and taxes.

they had to look, doesn't sound like they were very big searches
there was an initial report of debris, got the impression it was on ice or snow

when you blow up object size of an office chair (12$ PICO Balloon) with a 400K missile there's not exactly much to find at the bottom of a great lake.....
