That's actually long after many other lessons...

I taught my child to respect others and not call people names.

I'm certainly not recommending that you meet me in person.

If you think that calling others narcs is what you are here to do, then feel free.

I just asked you to think twice.

You should probably consider doing so.

Then Americans have the most to worry about eh.
It's estimated that a little over 42% of American adults have obesity, while about 30.7% are overweight. Overall, more than two-thirds of U.S. adults in the United States are overweight or have obesity.

is it those soy eating, woke liberals that are the overweight ones?

or is it the type that complain that Cracker Barrel is now selling plant based sausage as an option?

just curious about your thoughts

All three of those Americans are enjoying too much freedom.

We should shut it all down in the name of health...

Everybody quit eating and start shoveling cocaine into your faces!! *Hitler voice*

PS I realized that line should probably sound like an angry Nazi... wait weren't they all about meth? I might be back for rewrites...

You obviously haven't considered that China would back Russia against the US.

Why are you pushing the idea that the US and China are in cahoots when all evidence leads to the contrary...?

Anyway, more to the topic: if there's metal hanging from the balloon, does that make it not part of the balloon?
There's already some indication of coordination and future allignments there. In the current news.

Not to mention that Russia, Iran, and China have all had greater successes with their hypersonic weapons developments than we have..

You should really think twice before you continue calling people narcs on a pot growing forum.
I have the asshat on ignore (first person I've done that with here in about 15 years; he gets a prize for that).

But apparently he missed my hash tumbler thread and others. Or, maybe I'm a narc who grows weed, and tumbles hash. I mean, I saw 'Rush', and all that. it's possible.. :)

Narrow minded, severely presumptuous, deluded, AND paranoid are not effective ways in which to go through life. (edit: not to mention, inherently offensive...)

Oh well.

more than a rumor, the ny times is one of the favored outlets for official leaks
of course let the listener beware, but it could be part of the picture that was being seen
first a pilot reports metal on one object that really shouldn't have much
then the lake huron object is showing flat panel construction, possible stealth feature
taken together that could spell trouble
NYT was used by the State Dept and others during GW Bush's fabrications re. WMD's in Iraq, thanks to the likes of Judith Miller, now discredited for being a CIA/PNAC mouth-piece in that murderous effort.

Embedded, indeed. Jammies, slippers, and all.

OK, Mang.. Don't leave me hanging like that... Like a ....

Wait!! Is this, like, a game show, or something?? Am I supposed to insert my own end to that sentence? Some kind of a noun or something??

(*If I weren't typing this, I'd have to take a shower and snowblow the driveway.. At least I have a good excuse or 3 to be here...)

Spy balloons are nothing new - the US has used them for 60+ years, Russia and China have also used them for many decades.

For the initial balloon in the recent series of Media Coverage, the one shot down after passed over the entire US and then got shot down around South Carolina, it was 100% logical to use the Laser Based Missile Defense.

They had plenty of time to get the tools in place on the ground and in the water.

I understand not wanting to display "certain capabilities" - but shooting down a balloon is pretty much a minimum effort.

WHY would they not use the Missile Defense for the balloon ?

The best reason I can come up with is, they were afraid of being EMBARASSED if it didn't work.
According to Democracy Now the other day, in 2022 alone, the US sent at least 10 intel balloons over China.

Geese... ganders.... The less than objective perspectives rendered via nationalist news and belief systems.
