Yeah, that basically sums it up.
I've got about 50 plants in the 3rd bedroom. She's coming over to give a uh.. get this. VIEWING.
Fortunately, the law is on our side. 72 hour notice is legal. We're letting her in anyway? Long story, but she never directly informed us that she was coming. We talked to the REAL ESTATE lady about it, but when she found out that 2 rooms upstairs are going to be locked (roommate is out of town, he has the key) .. she told us to tell the neighbors to call her if we saw them.
2 hours later my MOM tells me the landlord (not real estate lady) called her and told her that she's coming over between 2-3 tmw. Lights will be off anyway... I'll be turning off all fans but the scrubber, the central air unit makes enough noise to drown it out.
My bedroom will be locked as well (less suspicious, I think? The grow bedroom is an "office" as far as she knows, she asked what we were using it for.. I told her I was a student at the local college. It's only 8'x9' so I told her it was my little "study.")
I think we'll be fine. First of all, what she's doing is rather rude. She's showing up without any notice? She never contacted me whatsoever. My mother does not live here, thank you. She has our phone numbers. RUDE. INTRUDING.
I plan on making her feel that way. I'll let her know I had no idea she was coming. I DID inform the real estate lady that 2 rooms we didn't have a key to unlock until the roommate came back to town.
I really don't wanna chop. I'm 33 days into flower on most, and like 50 days flower on 4 of 'em. Hell I got some vegging even.
Am I being stupid? Tips? Do's and don'ts? Trash bag 'em before then? She's an old lady. In the end, she's not getting in that room unless she kicks the door down? 72 hour notice by law, I'll simply ask her to leave if it comes down to it.
Point is, I don't see me getting busted tomorrow. Simply put, we DON'T have a key to open that door (I'll be the roommate that's gone as I'm the unemployed one - I collect unemployment from a layoff.) I'll be locked in the grow room or something.
I'd rather be the one to talk to her, because I know I can handle myself better. But meh, she know's my roommate works here in town at a gas station - how's he gonna just leave town? I on the otherhand have nothing to tie me here? Or am I overthinking things now?
