I know a dude you house got searched for a person and he had a 3 pc grows going. And they didn't find shit.they actually was in the room looking underbed and in the closet.
Anyways if your not into a shady crowd.m8nd your own business and dont do anydirt that will have the boys knocking(or kicking) on the door your golden.
Explain things and she a8nt down.hit the stix homie and bang out a few plants with some autos fo4 a quick harvest.or get your own house
Autos outside is a good idea too. You can harvest anytime its above 10 c. Handy little things for a few reasons. Good for beating fall time pig choppers looking for plants, harvest long before they are up looking for dope

yes, if you plant an automatic seeds outdoors on April 25 those will germinate to May 1, and will be ready to July 10. (70 days from germination) and can yield around 15-30 g per plant.

If you have aquaponics you should have some noise coverage.
Where are you gonna dry it?
How are you gonna explain the fresh stinky pot smell when your brush against a trichome...its gonna happen.
Shes gonna catch you checking it out sometime, because once you get into flower you will want to all the time.
PC grow might be the best option, say it does something for your aquaponics grow..

i wouldnt be in a relationship with someone that cant see the benefits of cannabis and would rather believe what there politicians told them because there to scared to think for themselves.i was in a relationship for 11 years with someone like this.it wont work out.have a partner that shares the same values as yourself or its not worth it imo.

Wow this thread has become something it shouldnt. They guy asked a question, not for oodles of moral advice. We are all rebels anyway, some more than others. Its not like he is asking for how to cheat and get away with it, he want to know if he can grow dope in a 1 square foot space and get a oz and a half per month.
I dont think you can with the space. Its too small, weed plants arent daisys.
The first thing that came to mind is, with no mom, whats your plan for clones or seeds.
It would ve eazier and cheaper to buy a bag as someone already pointed out. Get a dope dealers number and voila, problem solver. Or do the outdoor.
My last stoned thought on this thread for now is, you should probably just stand up for yourself and tell your wife. Tell her its either this or pay for it from a dope dealer (which is a little more expensive).
At the end of the day its up to you, lots of people have posted viable options to consider. It really depends on you, your wife, where you live (laws) anddd your situation in general.

hey i gave a valid option.im not knocking what hes doing,in fact it can be done maybe not in a month but that figure is not outta the realm.i know a dude who grew without telling the wife.he had it in 4x4 space in basement under the stairs.anyway she caught him down there watering them late one night and was pissed but let him finnish the grow and pull one more off before she said no more.
All ethical qualms and trust issues aside (this is a really bad idea)...seems like you could pull off a small micro-grow if you have access to a space that she does not frequent. Odor control and sound dampening to keep things quiet and maybe something simple like coco with blumats to keep the amount of time you have to spend with the plants down to a minimum would be a good start. However, not sure how you are going to play it when it comes time for the harvest, nor will you be able to hide the stink on your clothes for very long even in early flowering if you're messing with the plants at all. I mean I'm sure you could change clothes and shower immediately after touching them, but then you run the risk of your wife thinking you're cheating on her and that just seems even more dangerous.

I did say some offered valid options. Thats what the guy needs.
If a person wanted to chop something at a month its possible but it wouldnt be great. I did knock over a massive nl5 x afghan plant once drunk at 32 days. It yielded 3.5 oz and i did get high, but it would have been better at 45 days. It was still better than stuff ive bought at the local trailer park, so i guess you can chop plants at a month and its salvageable, but id probably make oil with something if i did that again. It wont tho i dont go near my plants when ive been drinking anymore, after that and a buddy fell off his table onto his rez and smashed it, messed himself up from the fall and the plants almost died in the time it took me to get him a new rez and bring it. I did laugh after both things happened, his accident more than mine (it took me a bit to get over falling into my plants and wrecking my two best at the time, snapped at the main stalk...) especially because his nutrient solution is blue... he was a little stained and smelled chemmy for a week.
dunno if you got it or not, cocosativas, but just to be sure I'll say it.. 40 grams per month doesn't necessary means harvesting 1 month old plants and getting 40 grams. It's usually the average smoking needs of the user, meaning if a grow takes let's say 4 months and yelds 160 grams, that's 40 grams per month. Or it could be done in a perpetual grow type, harvesting ripe plants every month, and planting others in their place.
Both options are hard to do in very small spaces, as the op has.

i harvest once a week.if a average strain takes 8 weeks to harvest then you only need 8 plants in flower or ready to go into flower.when one comes out one goes in

its crazy though i know tons of growers where i live and almost none of them do a perpetual harvest.if i know a 8+week strain needs to go into flower then i just slip it in a week early to make up the diff.i have found growing this way produces the most amount for me at least
My advise, grow mushrooms and use them to trade/buy for the weed. No way your going to hide this from your wife if she is the paranoid type when it comes to legal issues.
You could grow a few bins of mushies, have no smell to worry about, and still easily clear enough to buy your 40g a month.
Hiding a grow from the wife is really hard. How do you explain drying and chop time.. EVEN 1 tiny plant is going to reek when you trim it..
The other option is buy in bulk and cut your costs down, perhaps help a friend or two out with the excess? Smoke for free?
