Yeah ok, no worries.
Basically when choosing the degree you are going to study, an honours degree means a little extra work, and isnt available in every subject, otherwise you take the standard degree. The area of the degree depends upon the letters you get, for instance, a BA is a is an arty one or in the humanities, whereas a Bsc is a science type of subject, an LLB is a law degree and the list goes on. If after you complete your degree, you did really well, you graduate with a first, kind of a grade A type of deal. If you do well, but not so well, you get a 2:1, which is kind of the B grade. Then you get a Desmond, a 2:2, thats kind of you did ok but not great, and if you just scrape through, you get a 3rd, worse than that and you've failed. So you can get a first class honours degree, or you can get a 3rd class degree, or something inbetween.
