Plenty of cigarette smokers dying of CPD talked with plenty of bravado before they felt ill, I wonder how many don't regret that decision. At least Darwinism has a way of dealing with ignorance.

Darwinism rarely affects tobacco smokers. Tobacco mostly kills people in their middle aged to older years, well after the time where they had kids and passed their genes on to the next generation.

I was referring to the popularized (not scientific) meaning where in people die prematurely due to avoidable, bad decisions.

that'd be way too much for lethargic action heroes. That'd be way too rational and sane.

So you want to evaluate the cause and effect of a multinational agricultural corporation based on how people who oppose their detrimental actions live their lives?

The thread started with a claim and some evidence. If you want to refute it, do so.

If you want to create some irrelevant metric that without definitive correlation and slander people as lethargic if they don't respond I suggest you go outside, find the first person, and ask for a hug.

Seems like you need one.

Dude...everybody needs a hug.

Correct yourself now:

The thread started with an exclamatory sentence that offered no claims and no evidence....unless he went back and edited.

We reading the same thread?

Slandering?....lol....now that's rich.

So no thread?.....didn't think so. Just sit back down

there are a few reasons big social issues cause people to get weird (I would know as I am an expert on the subject)

1) Emotional Evoking. Some people are connected to social issues but get frustrating r helpless problem with no fast and simple resolve. If you are the kinda person who needs instant gratification these issues will aggravate you intensely. If you are easily depressed or have a deep connection with the natural world it can feel painfully overwhelming.

2) Denial. The problem isn't real. American business culture is to deny causation so people are not mindful of it. The thought of cause and effect existing behind all actions means ultimately people could be culpable for them. This is what big business does, they do something, profit, causation creates a negative byproduct (pollution, trash, etc) and our taxes pick up the tab. Few people want to acknowledge causation in other because in some way they adopted the same mantra, fuck it, pass it on the the next guy, just pay me attitude.

3) Apathy. The problem is bigger than me and there is no way I can effect it. Roll with the punches and stop whining. Sometimes in life this is the only way to get through a day, week, month or year we don't have the capacity to even effect these bigger issues so being emotionally invested in them makes no sense. However, some people compartmentalize social issue permanently, reaping the benefits of society but turned off to the notion of giving anything back or contributing a fair share because they are disenfranchised through practiced apathy.

Now if everyone was like that would pot even be legal?

and if pot can be legalized what else can be changed?

Evidence was posted in this thread and your still snipe hunting

Calling people lethargic if they don't conform to your demands is slanderous because there are other reasons they may not respond as the one I provided.

Not everyone is going to respond to you like a puppet, your best off making one from a sock and telling it to agree with you. Who knows it might lead to a much needed romantic encounter.

Yeah ok puppetmaster. Don't turn into another Hiding in the Fire type personality. I'd lose all respect.

You are just making excuses....and you are slipping.

Keep the body in a base (7.3 or so) internal environment...exercise...practice a homegrown plant based diet...drink lots of filtered water. About the best you can do.

the rest of it is fate

Alteration of estrogen-regulated gene expression in human cells induced by the agricultural and horticultural herbicide glyphosate

http://www.netwerkvlv.nl/downloads/2012-Krueger, M-glyphosate effects.pdf

Effect of Glyphosate on Potential Pathogens and Beneficial Bacteria Most of tested pathogenic bacteria were highly resistant to glyphosate; however, most of tested beneficial bacteria were found to be moderate to highly susceptible
and concluded that infant botulism may result, in part, from the
absence of inhibitory organisms in the normal flora of the infant intestine. Recently, we confirmed that E. faecalis, E.faecium and B. badius inhibited the C. botulinum types A,
B, D and E growth and BotNT expression [50]. The loss of such microbiota could be induced by contamination of feeds with residual glyphosate.

Glyphosate suppresses the antagonistic effect of Enterococcus spp. on Clostridium botulinum.

Results showed that glyphosate had an inhibitory effect on select groups of the ruminal microbiota, but increased the population of pathogenic species. The BoNT was produced during incubation when inoculum was treated with high doses of glyphosate. In conclusion, glyphosate causes dysbiosis which favors the production of BoNT in the rumen. The global regulations restrictions for the use of glyphosate should be re-evaluated.

Just come out and say it.

You profit from poison and Monsanto is your ally.

It's frustrating watching you dance around the truth while spewing everything else.

OOOOO shit....a blast from the past. What up dude?

How do I profit from poison? Why is Monsanto my ally?

After all these years of listening to people fight the power from their computers....I just want to see:

So what's the trick to getting Weird to post relevant articles? I'm lucky if they even have a passing resemblance to the topic at hand.

How many people are you arguing with this week, friendo?

Monosodium glutamate...which breaks down into sodium and glutamic acid...found in meat...and is a naturally occuring essential amino acid ...

Right? On both counts.

Watch out for bottled orange juice, they're using chemicals from the perfume industry.

Orange oil, extracted from orange rinds. Devilish, I know.

I'ma go smoke a joint and suck back a little hydrogen cyanide. Follow that with some grilled red meat and veg (the Maillard reaction produces copious amounts of carcinogens). Maybe a glass of single malt, aged in a barrel blackened with more cancer causing compounds.

Good to see you. No...it hasn't changed. If you can't stir the shit in a thread like this...it's a lost cause....but obviously

it's doable.

Wager I get 3 more pages out of it...until someone blows a gasket and it gets binned...

only

to have someone open up a new one..on the same subject...in a couple days.

In the end...nothing gained or lost. The world will still turn and people will still find themselves in it
