Hi, I'm a fan of ACE Seeds and have just discovered Snow High. Damn, a lot of interesting and landrace crosses and pure strains, but expensive though.



I have just received the seed list from Snow High and would like to know which strains to start with. I am looking for interesting sativas that don't go beyond 14 weeks which is the longest I think I have the patience for. Unless you can recommend something longer that is special and not to be missed.


Has anyone grown Colombian Gold 72? That's like 20 weeks but from what I've read, it's very special.



For now, I would like to start with Blueberry Blast for sure. How about Pipe Dream? I love Blue Dream btw, so I can't wait to grow BBB. How is it compared to Pipe Dream?


I would like to get another pack or two of some other interesting stuff. What do you recommend with the parameters I above? 14 weeks flowering is the max I can deal with.

I got a Purple Thai Haze going right now, only day 8 of flower I’ll get some pics tomorrow if I remember.

This is my 2nd time to flower it.

First run I just through it into the flower room not even under a light, the growth and structure was not great.

New one is under the light this time.

Pretty much no stretch on it during flower, slow growth in veg.

The smoke is okay, I get a hybrid feel from it.

Very very gassy sour smell on it, it translated into the taste decently, got about a month cure on it.

My new one is under a light so hopefully it will be a bit better..

Gonna pops some ACGxC99 seeds tomorrow after lunch, I have 7 left of them.

I have Zacatecas and Torreon with mystery Mexican sativa going now. They look indica influenced so should be done in 10 weeks or less.

Yesum, I'm going through this Snow High thread right now and saw you have grown out a lot of his gears. From your experience, what strain(s) is the most electric, soaring, and psychedelic? From my research, the real Colombian Gold back in the day seems to hit all the notes of the most amazing sativa of all time. Some described it like taking a trip to the universe. But dam, the flowering time of 16-20 weeks is kind of insane.


I am curious to know if anyone has grown Snow High's Colombian Gold 72. I'm about to grab a pack of those.

I already told you about USC CG which is related I am sure. If it does take 4 months to flower so what? It will not if you do what I said. You have to bend the plants over day to day if you want them short, like 20" tall is what I have them at.

I would not call CG the best sativa and trip gear. It is up there though. I currently am enjoying a 'Lime Green' Mexican sativa that I got thru a friend. Family line from down south. It has much of the trip and soaring effect but shows indica influence and one plant was just indica effect.

C99 is another that sativa fans seem to neglect. Has a lot of the sativa magic without long grow times and height problems, though I have one that does stretch a bit. My favorite.

Jamaican x Original Haze was one that had early trips to it and then fizzled. Never was a real pleasant high. Vietnamese Laughing Grass was ok, might run it again. Not really the trip I wanted.

Panama was shroom like with right pheno. Michoacan does have good trip effect with right pheno along with euphoria.

These really trippy effects are subjective so you might find a different reality than me. Phenos vary quite a lot as well. In reality you are gonna have to go thru quite a few different strains to get your ultimate trip or grail. Ask before you buy but be aware of what I said on effects being different for each person.

snow said it came from a guy who wanted it reproduced.... a film canister with colombian gold 72 label written on it

They may be otherwise be related in general as far as both being True vintage Colombian Gold

The Lambsbread Haze and Golden Dragon were a bit of a let down. The Golden Dragon had a nice soaring high all right, not nothing special either. One pheno was lighter in effect and the other a bit more stony. The LB x Haze I spoke about already. I only ran one or two phenos of these so that has to be taken into account.

The High Priestess or CG x AG x C99 was good and really quick, like 9 weeks. Panama was the standout for getting me into outer space. Tolerance factors in so none would launch me if I had been smoking them too much.

No humble brag on the Lime Green being so good. Just going thru my mind as I typed. The best is so often a gift or overlooked line. Aside from the Michoacan which I paid for twice ( neither was Called Michoacan) and identical to Snow's Michoacan, the two most psychedelic lines I smoked came out of nowhere, gifted to me and never to be seen again.

Snow has Golden King which is a cross of 3 Colmbian Gold strains from rare sources. There's a long description about it on the seed list. I wonder how's that.


Yeh it seems that Colombian Gold is not trip weed but clear, electric, and soaring. Mexican and Panama stuff seems to be where trip weed can be found.


Have you tried Aztec Gold (Colombian Gold x Acapulco Gold x C99)? I was going to grab some these. It's imilar to High Priestess (Haze x Colombian Gold x Acapulco Gold X C99). Aztec Gold is supposed to be fast too and is CG dominant according to Snow's past post on here.



Can you please elaborate on what you mean by "good" with High Priestess?


That's amazing that you got the CG 72 to finish in 14 weeks. That light schedule must have worked.

I'm looking for two types of sativas. The first is trip weed. Second is soaring/clear/electric without the paranoia/trip. And of course, I am also looking for that classic smokes that the old timers raved about back in the days. Legendary stuff like Colombian Gold, Acapulco Gold, Panama Red, and Oaxaca.

I got a couple of two weeks old C99 (from PeakSeedsBC) seedlings going right now. Can't wait to experience them. Seems too good to be true. Super fast trippy and electric sativa.

^^ Hehe, C99 is not be missed. You have to try it if you love sativa, simple as that. Not everyone will love it but should run a few to see.

Trip weed is illusive and individual. The LB x Haze gave me visual distortions first time I tried it. That gave way to LSD type vibes a couple more times I smoked. After that, it did not trip me out and never was a really pleasant high. Will run it again but that was one plant and what came of it.

High Priestess reminded me of C99, was mildly trippy and quite fun. It was likely done in 7 weeks as I remember. C99 can overtake the other lines in a cross I guess.

Golden King sounds almost like High Priestess so I assume close there but have not tried. Snow has quite a few strains that are similar in genetics.

Snow has pure Michoacan available now but mine was Sierra Madre which is Guerrero x Michoacan. I selected among the phenos. I got Panama Red berry, but any variant of PR should do.

Acapulco Gold is best found in Chimera's Highland Mexican x Blueberry, Gorilla Seeds has it. I think the Snow and Bodhi versions are Guerrero Gold and not quite as trippy or powerful. Or just get Panama, as it seems so similar in effect. Pheno hunt in all of these strains. The Panama or AG/ HG x BB was the most reliable trip effect for me. Did not vanish after smoking it a while. Had to lay off the smoke for a week to get full effect though.

Lost in a fog, rolling sensations, disconnection/ dissociation was present with these. I gave a joint of the good PR to a friend that had taken shrooms some months before and he did not think it was like shrooms. He saw colors on shrooms and I did not. So these things are all subjective.

Colombian Gold from USC was quite trippy first few times. Tolerance again. I smoke it now and while trippy is not what it was at first. Illusive thing that.

If you can contact Snow direct you can save some money. He is sick/out of it, like much of the time and things can be erratic. I think he has someone doing his business for him now.

Just smoked some USC CG and very nice. Not really like the first few times though. Trippy for sure but not LSD territory. Snow CG is gonna be in the next run for sure.

Good Vibes out to all!

My last snowhigh grow went ok. The (DTHF3 X Blazing Dragon) is interesting. It does not have ANY of the DTHF3 fuel funk. You can hardly smell anything, so maybe that means that it has very little terpines in it. However, one vape session will keep you going a few hours. Its been curing for a couple months or so, and it is quite strong. I had two different phenos. Both are about the same kind of buzz, but they look different. Neither one has a smell. Even the vapor has no smell...weird. I tried to clone both, but learned the hardway that they needed more humidity until they rooted...oops....oh well, I have more seeds of the cross...I will definitely get back to this one.

I also did the UltraViolet Haze. The plant is a mess. Just all over the place with bud facing downward from the weight I guess. I probably should have supported the branches better....Note to self: Next time... This bud also is quite strong. One vape session, and you are up for a couple hours, then you just want to sit still and feel all those ripples of current going through your body. Feels like my battery being charged....But I also feel a bit dumb after a couple hours....in a GOOD WAY!! Hehehehe.. So this one seems to have some INDICA backend....This one would be a keeper for one who keeps.

Oh, I'm vaping some DTHF3 X BD. Its interesting. It has NO SMELL..or my nose is fucked up.....hehehehe...I feel like I smoked some 70s colombian gold...Its a real vivid alert happy aware kind of high. Makes you want to write....I'm sure this is a long post because of my vape session....Ya Know.....hehehehehe..

Ok, so I finally sprouted a (Tangerine Sky) X (Blazing Dragon). Man, she is a BIG TALL BITCH. I topped it, and its still over 3 feet tall. The Tangerine Sky Mom was over 6 feet tall because I did not TOP it. The Tangerine Sky did not yield very much. A little over 1 ounce. I went straight through that tangerine goodness. It reminded me of the Dragons Fire, which was also some tangerine goodness that I went straight through. If only I had cloned them....oh well....Note to self: ...Next Time.....

An interesting find I got as a freebie from FIRESTAX (CantDriz: from 4u2Sm0ke). Anyone out there with those seeds.....Grow it!!!!!...Enough said on that one....

It’s coming along, I’m probably doing everything wrong with it to get some potential out of the thing.

Indoors in coco with 12/12 lighting, it’s day 55 of flower today.

She’s a shorty, probably only 3ft tall amongst a jungle of plants, she wasn’t drowned out from the beginning (she’s not really drowned out, still gets decent lighting) just doesn’t really stretch at all during flower.

The most sour plant I’ve ever smelled, the sour translates pretty decently in the smoke, the new one should be some good smoke, I kinda want to press it all though.

I killed the mother on Christmas Eve, I don’t really want to run it anymore.

I have a friend that is running some clones though.

I’ll get some more pics during harvest when I can isolate it if I can.

I swear if their seeds were reasonably priced they'd be almost as popular as Ace. Maybe not, Ace's stuff tends to be a little more tame. No or very few hermaphrodites, reasonable flowering periods, Snow High's gear seems more wild and unpredictable. To me this is good from a landrace collector's perspective, but bad considering the price. Well, what can you say, nobody else kept a lot of these strains he has a right to get the price he wants. Where else can you find Columbian Gold x Panama Red x Purple Thai x Haze? I picked up some seeds from the guy a few years back, since then I've payed attention to what he's up to. I've still got a pack of Heart of Darkness stuffed back in my refrigerator waiting for the time I can do a 16 week flowering cycle. Which is why I don't grow his stuff, I wish I could but I like growing outdoors and I don't live in the tropics.

I was just checking out Oregon Elite's site, they've got all his stuff marked down. Most of it by half. Which seems reasonable and probably what the prices should have been in the first place. One thing I hadn't noticed before is his North African Mountain Sativa. Ethiopian x Sengalese. As exotic as it gets.

I'd love to look at his flowering room. I learn so much with every different plant I grow. The shape, growth pattern, and smell. It's like a big puzzle. The more plants you've grown the more parts of the puzzle are filled in. Looking through a few of his gardens would fill in a lot of gaps in my knowledge.
