Snowmoons progressing along nicely :) I tried to take some nice trichome pics today but wind was just enough strong to enable taking sharp pics.

They are doing great up there skoviik :dance013:I like the look of the big fat main cola Orient Express style with the unmistakable PCK colors.
Glad to see such beautiful purple colors, and pink pistils too ;) I bet the smells are mesmerizing !

They look great indeed, to me too :D I've already cut 3 of them since they were mature (maybe a couple of days away) and I went the safe path not risking it with the weather (rain with strong winds). I checked the other three today and they were doing quite well, no illness and firmly rooted. Wind is up to 100km/h btw.
I grow them for the first time but definately not the last. I hope you'll make new editions after this stock runs out. A very underrated strain and definately a keeper.

the smells... ... oh my, I love the smells. Strong but not agressive, perfumey but not artificial, similar to cyclamen. One is dried to smoke and the high is very nice. The description of the high on the website is quite fitting, definately a happy, feelgood high.

A Wonderful strain, If someone is having second thoughts, I highly recommend it (pun intended).

Glad you already harvested some of them skoviik, congrats! :) In guerrilla growing, it's better harvest a few days earlier than risk to lose the whole harvet by thieves. It's also important to check the weather report regularly for the last weeks of flowering to anticipate the harvest in case of real bad weather during last days of flowering. Really big, chunky and resinous buds in early October, well done

thank you dubi for your nice words and good advice. I have no problem with early harvests since I prefer the high of earlier picked colas. (btw, been growing since 1998 but never before snowmoon :) )

Has anyone made bubble hash from this strain??? I’ve got some in the freezer now freshly frozen from five different outdoor females, beautiful plants each had their own unique characteristics. My first impression is the buds are way too greasy for making bubble. Plentiful trichomes, some phenos showing purple stalks but a quick fresh rub with the fingers trichomes are extremely sticky, delicate and oily. Crossing my fingers for a successful wash. Also looking forward to washing a cross I made using a bangi male to pollinate a cinex female and although it will finish later then snowmoon the resin from this cross is looking very promising. So can anyone speak on ice water hash from Snowmoon??

Hi Hash Artist, glad you liked all the Snow Moon females you grew, congrats on your harvest :)

Being mainly a hybrid of hashplant indicas, Snow Moon is a great choice to produce all kind of hash and extractions.

After being on and off available for the last 5 years in regular and feminized format, it's time to finally say good bye to Snow Moon limited edition :comfort:
A bit sad because i feel this one very close to my heart. May it will be missed by all the growers who had the chance to grow this mostly indica hybrid, based mainly on Chinese indica (organic hashy pheno) and old Purple PCK (forest fruit bubblegum pheno).

Thanks everyone for your support :ying:

Hey Dubi
hope your doing well
glad I grabbed a pack while I could. Grew a couple clones of this second seed from my pack that I gave my dad and it did really well. This one stayed green in my tent but the seed plant my dad grew outdoors got some purple in the fall. He said it’s been his favourite lately to relax.

Your plants look really similar to the offspring Of my Snow Moon x JOTI BlackBerry wine

Only my girls are a deep purple.

What a lovely couple @Mountainkush  ! Each one very representative of each parent plant (Purple PCK 2002 and OE hashplant indica pheno). What's the favorite pheno at home ? Hope you and your dad are still enjoying with Snow Moon flowers and genetics!

PD: Sorry for late reply, didn't see your post!

Hey Dubi,
That’s ok. I forgot to come back and update this. I can’t seem to find the time anymore.

These both turned out to be very enjoyable.
The purple one smells and tastes like a purple pck and the effect is similar too but a little more powerful.

The green one is definitely my favourite though and I’ve been really enjoying it in the evenings. This one surprised because it hits so hard. Very powerful full body effect that’s relaxing but not sedative in any way and has a happy vibe to it.
Hard to describe the smell of this one but it’s very fresh and sweet and makes my mouth water.

Dubi, I was just going to say I found one last fem seed from the first year of release. Now that it really is the last seed of this I will ever see, I'm afraid to pop this precious gem.

I will have to figure out a beautiful cross for this lady. To go with your Hashplant, China Yunnan or I have a handful of very rare genetics to choose from.

It will be an honor to raise some of your grandkids in f1's dubi.

Happy Memorial Weekend Holiday to you all here on the mag.

Happy to hear you like your 2 divergent Snow Moon girls @Mountainkush :D You are well experienced on Purple PCK hybrids so no big surprises on the purple pheno, the OE indica expression you like the most is usually sweet and creamy in terpenes (usually with organic background too), and produces more potent and relaxing effects than Purple PCK expressions do. OE indica expressions are indeed lovely for afternoons, to relax alone in introspection and joy.

I have decided to germinate the Snowmoon this season. I will have a stellar male in the greenhouse this season. (Just because half of the genetics are Ace) in hybrids I have done in years past. I do have some interesting things going on besides that as well.

FUNGAL REPOSITORIES are the foundation of all my grows. I have used the same soils for the last 7 seasons. I have no need for pesticides or herbicides, the soil/root health provides all the protection the plant needs.

I quit buying ladybugs three seasons ago. The plants are to strong for an aphid infestation. I have a very healthy spider population inside the greenhouse and I try and add more when I can catch some.

This single seedling is a volunteer from last season (I believe)??? It should be a Phitsanulok Thai (geographic specific) crossed to a Ogers Kush (Oregon Kid) I do have more Ogers Kush but I don't have any Phitsanulok Thai and it would never finish here to do the hybrid. I don't know that I can get anymore from the kind soul that gave me these? So with the Snowmoon I have two plants I'm trying to find a future in some capacity.
