Snow Cap Bagseed

A few weeks ago I found some beans in my 1/2oz of Snow Cap I got off a buddy. I found about 9 seeds total, all passed crush test. I was not sure when I was going to grow them, but then got into play mood.

Germinated the seeds on Feb 5 in the normal paper towel.



All seeds popped in 24hr.

On FEB 7 I planted seeds in 4in pots half filled with Happy Frog soil.

I put them under my new Lumatek Digital 250w with the AgroSun enhanced MH mounted in a Hydro Farm Daystar Hood.

The light is about 20-24in away form plants...

On FEB 9 as they were breaking soil, they looked a little yellowish. They needed a watering so I gave them 1 cap Maxicrop Seaweed : 1gal bubbled water.

They are in need of a watering today so I should have some new picks up to show how they are doing.

Looks like you have some pretty strong roots on those seeds, good job. Is maxicrop a nute? because if so if say hold off on all nutes till the sprouts get their 3rd or 4th set of true leaves.

They are starting to show some yellowing, as well as the leaves are curling downward on a few.

EA/EN = Earth Ambrosia / Earth Nectar is a Mycro Inoculent

I just read up on these micro nutrients on the soil secrets web-site it sound like some good stuff! Thanks for introducing this to me! It seems you are preparing perfect conditions for your babies. I will love watching this one. Thanks for sharing; peace

Well I havent posted in a little bit because I have been fighting temps...Things was way too cold.

One thing I neglected as well was just how BLUE a MH, let alone an enhanced one, can be. That led me to thinking my plants were yellowing and attempted to correct it, when they was fine. Things dont look good.

I will post some pics next watering, but I can say now there is not much to see....

NOTE Infirmary Thread

Yesterday I mixed up a 2ltr bottle with 1/4tsp Metanaturals Base 3-3-3 and 1/4tsp Metanaturals Nitrogen 16-0-0 Plus 2 drops of Metanaturals Calcium. After mixing I had 500ppm @ 5.6, I upped the PH to 6.7 using a few pinches of EJ PH UP (Potasium Carbonate) I let it sit for a few hours to make sure ph did not drift. Ph held 6.7.

I watered the plants until a small amount ran out the bottom. I also moved the light further away because I seen a few signs that looked like light burn/bleaching.
