Smoke a joint a week, and get healthy!

yeah but who here smokes a joint a week ?

i like it this way best, a friend and i have an on off tradition based upon a lot of life circumstance, but, "high friday" is really enjoyable, long work week, and let yourself go on this friday. Generally no time for us to be able to smoke during the week anyways, but, even when there is its better to withold and enjoy it as we do. Keeps tolerance out of the situation(as in, exits ours systems before we smoke again), keeps the psychological aspects out as well. hasn't happened in a minute though...

So, in absence of that, and in light of better(and simple) methods), lately i enjoy so much more a recipe i found. Also, this way i don't even have to bother with inhaling burning plant matter. grind up buds really fine and place in a little oil(coconut oil works best for this method i found), 160F degrees for 15minutes and you are golden. Coconut oil is great because its solid at room temperature and you can put it the pill capsules and it won't eat the capsule so quick. Also, apparently at like 200F THC evaporates, so, variation of this method and cuts out some variables is to heat to that point(200f) and then stop, have yet to try that one still. The high lasts WAY longer and i don't have to use as much, it is ssoooo much more efficient.(coconut oil is also very digestible)

ether way, you are still breathing in burned plant matter, so, i think as the study finds, a J every so often is obviously not an issue, but, if you are quick about it, you don't even have to inhale anything, and at the same time use MJ more efficiently.

(hooray for running on of the posts, and UP WITH EATING MJ!..)

I was at an 8th a month (of kine bud, or a quarter of press bud if that is all I could get) for the better part of 20 years as a simple consumer, and then I started growing. It is hard to say how much I actually smoke now because I share more and don't conserve like I used too. Smoke a half of a joint and chuck the roach and that sort of thing. It is a different world when you have an "endless" supply!!! I also quit cigs a year ago and since I work partially from home, I daytime smoke more now than I ever did before to kill that urge. I fly out of town for a week or two at a time a couple times a year and it is nbd to quit, though that first j when I get back home is kinda heaven. Most people I know smoke through an 8th in 2 or 3 weeks. I don't think I have ever known anyone who smokes 6 j's a day or whatever... Seems common around here though.

dont wanna spoil the mood, but one thing for sure, even the pure(no tobacco) smokers, we are all inhaling carbonbased material here, sometimes burnt at too low temps (unclean smoke) maybe sometimes (if bad supply) not properly manufactured stuff..

its an illusion to consider it a healthy thing for the lungs.

but still, moderation might be THE key, and no question that there are plenty beneficial effects, healthwise..

smoking anything will reduce the lung capacity no matter what this article says

Havent vaped or smoked anything and the difference in heartrate when doing cardio is very noticable

wanna be healthy? do sports and eat healthy

i love MJ , it has many beneficial effects , but smoking it is not so good for the lungs

oh, I think smoking only one day a week would be great but it's not something that will happen to me anytime soon

it's either none or frequently

I know that there are other people who smoke only a couple of times

@way3form
your high fridays sounds like a fun ritual
was it a one joint thing or was it a couple of joints fridays ?

Awesome post. I generally smoke a lot more then a joint a week but now I don't feel so bad about it.

Tobacco is so carcinogenic, because it is one of the only plants in nature that actively absorbs radioactive isotopes.
