smart pot size question

Guys and Girls,

I'm curious would it be better to run a smaller pot with higher number of plants?....65vs100gal? Due to space, i'm using like a 10x20 so 4x100 or 6x65.

Will the 100's yeild 2 plants worth more then 6/65's? I'm up at 3400' so plants don't go out until after June 6. Have them under T5's currently.Strains are Chernobyl and Cherry Pie. Thanks all!

hello priznnplanet i would say that its all strain depended if you need a 100 gall or a 65 gall/ the size of the plants when you plant them out, but i dont know the strains you are running if you want huge plants go with the 100galls i had a friend back in the days that was growing some huge blue dream each summer that was 100galls he was going with

gal u mean gallon? planter that i think is only 5 or 10 gallons my plant is almost 2.5 feet tall now.. please explain what u guys mean by gal if a 100 gallon wouldnt that be like something a midget could bathe in?

Hey thanks, i've pulled almost 2 units off blue dream in 25gal. The cherry pie would put off about half that based on my runs with her inside. I have seen a few outdoor guys here pulling over 4 units, while the Chernobyl is a pretty heavy yielder. My space and numbers are low so trying to figure which would be most efficent.

Yes gallon... 15 gal is used indoor, outside is a whole different animal. Well at least here in cali!

100 for sure Ive seen 40 and 65 get root bound pretty easily here in N.cal and the extra soil/water helps keep the root zone cooler in the summer heat to boot
