small screen on comp

well that's gone ? all mine says now is "Search Bookmarks and History"

Get your son, and have him smack it!!

Just kidding bro...right click on the area where it is s'pose to be, and click "Navigational Toolbar"--

or go to the top in the "VIEW" tab hit "toolbars" then check mark "navigation tools"

go to the same "view" tab and find "sidebar" UNcheck history and bookmarks

well if i check them "history and bookmarks"
boxes pop up on the side of my screen

the address bar at the top is where the message is
the addy's are missing
example www.https.icmagistheshit.com
thats gone ?

HMMMMMMM well go to the "view" again and then "toolbar" make sure the "navigation toolbar" is checked it sound like one of those toolbars is on or off ......if your really frustrated with it ..... in the "toolbar" tab there is also "customize toolbar " in there you can restore it to default that hopefully should fix the problem...... if not im outta ideas

If I click the address bar and delete the text it contains, it says "search bookmarks and history"

you should still be able to use it. idk why it's not showing the address though

open your list of programs
scroll over accessories
scroll over system tools
select system restore....... there you'll be guided through the procedure
it's fairly fast & usually restores all of your computers settings back to normal.
