Small Scale, Extremely Cheap Grow Chamber

Hi everyone! It is early Thursday morning and I am eating a nice breakfast to rid me of my hang over, I've had a temperature for the past couple days of 101 as well as back pains, neck pains, eye socket pains, and head pains. Sounds worse then I feel, fortunately.

As of right now, I have six plants sprouting out of the soil. They have only been introduced to a 12/12 cycle and flowering spectrum sense germination.

Soil: Pesches - Ready to Use Potting & Planting Mix (Organic Soil)

Lighting:
1 - 20 Watt fluoro Tube
4 - 23 Watt CFL's
----------------------
112 Watts

Setup: My setup is a new design, which I would like everyone on IC Mag to test, question, innovate, destroy, what ever.

Note: This setup is designed for one large plant or small scale SOG. 9 - 1 Liter bottles fit in the chamber.

2 Flat White 2' 5gallon buckets.
2 Fans
Mylar

- For the first bucket, I cut a whole in the side (using a Dremel tool) so the standing fan would fit right into it. So, the incoming air is from the bottom bucket.
- I flipped over the second bucket, and cut the entire bottom off the bucket so my second fan can sit comfortably on top of the chamber sucking that hot, used air out.
- Secure the top bucket to the bottom bucket (I used duck tape).
- Secure mylar around the inside of the bottom and top buckets for maximum reflection.

hmmm.............how are you going to control light leaks with that setup? And.......is that just to house a mom? Cuz it can be done much easier than that...........if you flower in there with that lighting.........ya might get 7 grams dried. Not much return for your effort/time bro..........just trying to help out!

As for light leaks I have no plan for stopping leaks. If you have a good idea to reduce the amount of light leaking let me know!

For smell, I don't have much more of a plan then sticking fabric softeners around the chimney.

As for the 6 grams of dried weight, I hope I can get more! None the less, I still need to study this strain, and there is little I can do right now for a different setup. So, I am sticking to my bucket chamber. Hopefully looking at the setup may click a few light bulbs on in your alls heads to upgrade/alter the bucket setup.

Family has been receiving the same strain for over 10 years, outdoor grown nugs.
I now plan to study the results of throwing this strain into an indoor grow-op.

It looks like you could put the whole set up inside a trash can with intakes and exits. Even if the light leaks from the inside aren't a problem, you need it totally dark for the dark periods. I have heard that it can cause hermies if you have light leaks. You could also get y sockets and double some of the sockets you have already more light more bud. Also start out with like two plants so you have better chances of getting a female. If you start the seed under 12/12hrs o light you can tell the sex while they still are small and then veg if you want. Way to re-invent the grow tub..

not gone work dude, too much light gettin in, and youll be lucky to get 5 grms off one plant with that set up, loads of work for 5 grams of hermie weed, might want to read up more

Double trashbags at "Night-time" for plants (keep light in), more lights, a pc fan. Grow on, soldier, grow on!!!!

remember guys.......light in and light out are the same thing..........if you see light coming out.......that means you have a leak, plain and simple. With that wattage.....an outdoor bagseed........i highly recommend you reconsider and stop while your ahead. This isn't going to work for you man......not a good environment at all. Just letting you know up front.
