Hey all, I am at 15 days of flowering all seemed to be going great. But today I noticed some very small brown spots showing up on the big fan leaves? They are not everywhere just a few but I really want to catch this before it gets outta control. Here are some pics, let see if you pro's can catch this before it gets outta control!!:yoinks:

Zoom in on the pics and look at the center leaf and the one to the right, you will see tiny brown spots.........

Those are water spots bro...not bad ones, but that's definitely what they are. Try putting some detergent in your water mix, or try spraying just before the lights turn off. Don't freak...nothing bad - your plants are healthy...

Water spots? If that was the case every plant outside would look like that from the rain.

I suspect you have a slight ph lockout happening there but you need to fill out the infirmary form before anyone can begin to give you accurate information...

yes, what happens with HPS lights - and not with the sun's natural rays, when you spray your plants with water - without a wetting agent, the water beads up on the leaves and acts like a magnifying glass.

i am willing to go with spo on this one.. his explanation of how water acts as a magnifying agent is spot on.. and the spots will vary depending on how long they were subjected to light before darkness, how close to the light.. the longer you magnify something, the more it burns.. hehehehe those little ants don;t just immediately ignite when you put the magnifying glass on them.

Im only hitting them with 1300ppm lucas formula. That doesn't seem like that would burn them. I have been feeding them that since they were10 days old.

That's the Lucas formula, with RO water. He says you can use it from clone to end of flower with no problem. Why the WOW? Is that a lot or not to much in your opinion?

Yeah I am still convinced they are water spots, but IMO that ppm is high. But I don't use Lucas Formula - I use Botanicare regime, which requires a lot lower ppm's.

Don't want to hijack this thread, but thought since you're all being so helpful I'd drop in a picture for diagnosis:

Hey access  Hows it been going?? ...other than the sick plants. Lol. Not too sure what you're dealing with, without getting more information. However, if I was to guess, I would say its nute burn.

Need more info...From the slight yellowing that could be the start of a Ca def or too much nutes. Probably later.

How could the spots be water spots if he's not foliar feeding?
