They deff. smell more than first grow, I don't know if you would call it a skunky smell, but it is the right smell going by the hit and previous exp.
I'm hoping for more of everything from them this time.

there is no reason to backcross this strain...its been inbred and is basically an ibl. if you wanna find the origin jsut search. this strain has been aroudn forever and its commercial viability ease of growth and good smoke makes it a common strain with plenty of info out there....

Very nice sk#1 plants. Looks like exactly the same pheno as mine, or VERY close to it. Mine were also given to me in clone form. The buds have a sweet smell after cure and taste almost like rock candy. Hard to describe, just very sweeeeet flavor.

I have two of them in flower right now at day 21 or so.
Like you, I have found they get easier to grow each time around. She makes very dense, yummy buds that everyone I know has thoroughly enjoyed. I believe this time will be one of the best runs I've made with her.

Thanks everyone, I'm going to chop them on Friday. 
Stoned2Death, I grew this from a packet of freebie Skunk #1 sent out when I ordered some BOG from Gypsy. 2 popped, one female and this is it.
Lucky.......but, I have spent untold amounts of money on seeds...still am.
The only problem with them is the branches are too thin for the weight of the bud, calls for some creative tying up.
I'm smoking the last crop now, which is nice, but really expect this one to be far better in every way, and my best one to date.
Does anyone else get the jitters just before harvesting? No matter how it's gone?
I guess these will have to be hung for a bit longer to dry before curing, I usually allow about 10 days, maybe 14 days for these.

Yep! Stupid huge buds are the kind of problems we all like to have, lol! I don't know why I thought you said you got them in clone form. I am not positive of the breeder on my sk#1 cuz it was a clone, but it's very close to yours in appearance.
I get the jitters when flower starts just hoping it goes well. Then, I hardly sleep until harvest.....I find myself spending my days looking for something to keep me busy until the lights come on again so I can go in and see.
