SKMs Old School Thai Haze x Skunk#1

Hi,

I'm thinking of growing Skunkmans Old School Thai Haze x Skunk#1 and was wondering if anyone who has grown it can tell me about how it stretches.

will it double or triple in size or end up 5 ft tall if flowered from clone?

Not from clone but if you let a vegging seedling go long it will grow to monstrous proportions..

I can only let my plants reach about 4ft tall, then i am beginning to run out of height

ive grown sams original haze x skunk and that only doubled in size so i had no probs growing that one

I've done both and the thai stretches more and flowers longer..

is the thai haze a better smoke Capt?

I germed a pack and they all stretched pretty bad,I pretty much expected that though.If you grew enough of them or got lucky you might hit a Skunk dom pheno that might be more managable.This would be an excellent outdoor strain but for indoors you need space and patience.
One of the best Thai strains I've grown is Thai-Tanic from TFD.

In my opinion the Original Haze X Skunk was better....But I will be growing both again as they are BOTH certainly worth looking through for that special keeper...I have been trying to find a worthy Thai to add to the stable but have not found one that I really like so far...I did keep a specimen from the Thai Haze X Skunk#1 but I know theres better to be found...
These genetics do not get enough praise...My only complaint would be that it's hard to get any answers from Sam himself but he has put a lot into the genetics world and deserves his break for as long as he so desires...You will see him post occasionally though...The genetics are truly old school and excellent....

Just a related question (kick me if I'm highjacking) just wondering how SKM's hazexskunk crosses compair to the same from Seedsman and TFD, I'm under the impression that Sam has had I finger in them too?

i think ur right though, i know seedsman is old(ish) stock from skm

TFD recieved a lot of their breeding gear from Sam as the story goes......
So it stands to reason that although they may not be exactly the same,,,they are certainly derived from the same parental lines...

The reson I ask is that I'm looking for a good indoorable Haze on the cheep, I only do seed grows as I have no clone/mother area, only smoke about a 1/4 a month and I don't think my wife would be to happy if I spent big money on something like SSH.
A HazeXskunk would fit my needs nicly, Sam's work looks realy good, SKM's OHazeXSkunk and TFD's Titan's Haze/Fuma con Diablos are about the same price, but Seedman's OHaxexSkunk is about half the price..
I'm all about qualety (of high) over quantety, but then I need realy good qualety to justify spending more for something I'm only growing a couple of oz'es of..

Check Seedbay as DG has been running killer deals on the Haze X Skunk#1...
Seedsman may be exactly the same as Sams considering they use the same general description...It may be his stock sold under their name...
The Haze X Skunk would be an excellent choice for Haze heavy genetics you can do indoors...
But I should stress that you should try to use a closet or piece of your closet for a mother clone chamber as you are likely to find something that will break your heart to lose....You can reveg your favorite plant by putting the lower branches back under 24 hours of light after harvest...Just leave plenty of fresh green bud material on the plant and try not to over-mature your buds...They seem to regerate well...

Captin, you know what, you are right, I should be able to convert a small corner of my closet to a (bonzai) mom room, and HazeXSkunk I would want to flower as soon as the clones root anyway, would also give a chance for those sativa genetics to 'mature'.

How much would say an 8" clone of OHazexSkunk1 stretch under a MH anyway?

I would guess 24 to 36".....
That would be pretty close..
